Grohe Essentials 22 In. Multi-Towel Rack

This is a beautiful product and nicely made. As others have stated (unfortunately I didn't prior to installation)- The template on the box is INCORRECT both in spacing for the disks and the hole pattern. Do not trust it! Geez, who would have thought it? Buying a German company's expensive towel rack would have an incorrect mounting template? I do suggest buying the larger screw anchors. They leave bigger holes, but they're a lot more stable. HEY GROHE-FIX the incorrect template on your box!

Easy to install and not too big tower rack that we needed for our tub area. Looks very sleek, sturdy and stylish. Grohe usually does not disappoint, great quality brand.

We are very pleased with the rack itself. It appears to be well constructed and the style matches some Kohler fittings in our bathroom. Some reviews have mentioned that the "template" printed on the outside of the cardboard box is misleading. I noticed this too, fortunately before drlling any holes in the wall. I also discovered that the included plastic wall anchors are useless. They simply rotate when you try to screw into them. You should replace those anchors with better ones from your hardware store that have a lip to prevent them from pushing through the wall and rotating.

A bit thin, but seems sturdy. The chrome is nice and shiny, and the mounting is easy. I like that I can use the shelf to put things (towels, etc.) on, as well as use it for hanging 2 or even 3 towels to dry. And of course there's the bar below, which can be used for another towel.

I've always bought Grohe products with total confidence, but this time, I realized that a "bean counter" at Grohe cost reduced a needed metal mount with a plastic disk. No amount of tightening of the set screw could get the towel bar tooth to engage. Now I have 4 holes in my bathroom wall (just painted it!) and Ihave an expensive chrome plated piece of junk tubing in the basement. This was an expensive lesson I did not need to learn!

Very disappointed in how this towel rack mounts to the wall. Hard to align properly and tighten the tiny inset screws. Doesn't seem very sturdy. Looks good....but I'm waiting for it to fall out of the wall.
