The Divine Comedy (Barnes & Noble Collectible Classics: Omnibus Edition)

Classic Book, a must read.

I always wanted the Barnes and noble edition! Didn’t know Amazon was selling them! It is absolutely perfect.

Not for amateurs

Loved the book's presentation including the gold leaf page edging. The introduction was really helpful, as this is my first venture into Dante. It identified people and places which I would probably have had to look up elsewhere. I came to the conclusion that the rhyming would (naturally!) have been in the Italian manuscript but that is not a problem. Having read Milton a couple of years earlier I don't foresee this epic as anymore difficult. Am really looking forward to engaging with this.
