These cloths are a nice size, kind of thick, slight shrinkage after washing not much. Good thread count, minimum of shedding. However warning heavily laden wuth dye if you get colored cloths, I purchased the green and through the pre-wash they bleed a lot even after several rinses, so please wash before using. Other than that I'd say go for them. A good price, and reasonable quality.

Beautiful shade of of green matches my rug and clock. Quality looks good, I have to wash them, before I use them. Just beautiful, packaged with a beautiful green ribbon. I recommend Hearth & Harbor.

Good quality. Pretty thick and very absorbent. I purchased the dark green. They wash and dry without fading.

These towels are nice and thick and good quality for the price. However they fade quite a bit when washed. Due to the fading they no longer match my bathroom decor. I would not buy these towels again.

The media could not be loaded. Liked the purple color but it stops right there. With new towels, there is a proper treatment which should be applied prior to use to rid the towel of silicone sprayed on the item at the end of manufacturing. Silicone spray is applied to enhance the “hand” of the towel (softness, sheen) but it restricts water absorption. It is necessary to remove the silicone, which can either take place over several washings (slower, ineffective way) or by initially washing separately in two hot water cycles using 1 cup white vinegar per load WITH NO DETERGENT, followed directly with a final wash of hot water and 1/2 cup baking soda WITH NO DETERGENT.Do not combine the two products together.Do not dry towels between washes.Do not over load wash machine so towels move freely in water.Do not wash towels with any other items.Do not ever use fabric softener on towels lest you begin to decrease absorbency.As an aside, use this treatment whenever your towels lack absorbency due to detergent build up.To continue, having applied the above treatment as described for these towels, the result speaks for itself as to the quality of the cotton and manufacturing. Not only did they shed in the washing machine, the first clue these might not be quality towels, but the final step of drying them overfilled the dryer lint screen. Not good. I was further dismayed to find such extensive pilling; they looked shabby, old, and definitely cheap.Because I bought these towels specifically for the new color in my bathroom remodel, I really wanted to like them and thought perhaps a quick roll with a tailors tape would eliminate the unsightly, extensive problem. Not so. 30 minutes later I had used up half of a tailors tape roll (debris not shown) and went on to use packing tape, all the while thinking this is a waste of time as frustration mounted. Although I could feel the softening effect of my initial wash treatment as the pilling came off—slowly with repeated pressure in all directions—I knew I was leaving a slight adhesive reside behind and would need to launder the towels again. I then suspected more cotton fibers would undoubtedly work loose in any ensuing wash and this might be a repeat performance. I got one towel done on both sides when I decided enough is enough. I didn’t pay for this arm exercise and have NEVER experienced such a poor quality towel. As the video shows, you decide what’s worth your time and effort verses the look you’re going for. For me, I decided against all three considerations and promptly returned them.
