Dispoz A Scoop Pkg of 48

Inferior plastic bag, less glue, rip-off.
I used these all my life from my community's provided pet waste stations. I thought this would be the same product. It sadly, is not. It looks identical with one MAJOR exception. The plastic used as the baggie portion is vastly inferior to the one I remember. This is almost a matte plastic, while the legitimate, quality version of this product has a glossy plastic. The glue is also more conservatively applied, and does not adhere well to this inferior version of the baggie. This means the top flap will become detached from the cardboard, and the product is rendered essentially useless. This happens with over 50% of the scoops you'll receive. I've now ordered twice, thinking I got a bad batch, same result. Look for the ones with the glossy plastic bag, avoid these.

No Muss, No Fuss
I've been using these for several years now, and unfortunately, our local pet stores do not seem to carry them any more. Amazon to the rescue!I like these better than the pickup bags, because I primarily use them for policing my back yard. With bags, you can only pick up a few doggy mines before you have to tie up the bag since you can only hold so much. Since these bags have a wire frame to hold the bag open and a cardboard handle to hold the bag, you can keep scooping doggy mines until the bag is full. Then it's a simply push of the handle to close it off. You never even have to feel like you're picking up poop.I use the cardboard piece that pops out of the handle finger hole to coax the doggy mines into the bag, and then I toss it in with it before sealing it up. It makes for a very mess free experience. I have never had a bag rip or tear, either. One note is that these came in a "bulk" box, i.e. all 48 in a plain brown box. These do not come in the retail packaging. I thought it might come as two of the 24-count retail boxes. No big deal, but it is a little harder for me to store the box it came in since it's slightly larger than two of the 24-count retail boxes. Just thought I'd point that out to others.

Terrible Quality
I agree with others that the quality of these bags has deteriorated drastically. I've used dispose a scoop bags for years, and they were the perfect solution to dealing with pet waste. Now the plastic separates from the handle and just yesterday the bottom of a full bag opened up, which was a really nasty surprise. No offense to the seller, but whoever makes these bags now is doing a terrible job. Too bad.

Handy, but needs stapling!!
These things are awesome as long as you staple the plastic to the cardboard. If you do not, the glue attaching the plastic is worthless and will detach very quickly. I wish the company would correct this with stronger glue.

This product is made really poorly. The glue is not strong enough to hold the bag, which causes it to fall apart. The original product was made with thicker bags. The bags are very thin and the wire frame separates.

Best poo bags, period.
The only downside to these is that they're not biodegradable due to the metal frame that holds the bag open. That is more than made up for by how well these work. For anyone who can't stand feeling dog poop in their hand, even through a bag, these are a godsend. There were one or two where the plastic bag had come unglued from the cardboard handle, but nothing in this world is perfect.Edit: Typo

We have a big dog and find these a lot more useful than the plastic bags
not the quality they use to be; I ordered 4x 48 and they were not packaged well just all tossed into a box; out of 192 I had 5 that are not useable at all, the wire frames were completely torn out of cardboard handle, I think this was more a manufacture problem then a shipping issue however I did have a handful that were torn to the point it might work if I tape it, probable due to handling and packaging, We have a big dog and find these a lot more useful than the plastic bags. We not only use for walks around the neighborhood but also for travel and camping trips.

Good product. Hard to carry
I like how easy it is to pick up with and seal the bag. The biggest drawback is that they are bulky for carrying on walks, and if you preclose the bag to fit it in a pocket then it keeps closing while you try to pick up the mess.
