Excellent design and easy to put together. Definitely cools the whole room and circulates all the air. Noise level is great at speeds 1 & 2, it’s a little loud for me at speed 3.

I bought this for my bedroom because the house we moved in to doesn’t have any ceiling fans and I also bought another fan that had more features and I planned on returning the other one but I kept both. I use this one for the staff room at my job and it stays on all the time. It’s loud but not overly loud. I actually like the noise. It helps me sleep. It has 3 speed settings and is adjustable. Very easy to put together and well made. The low speed is good for a small area, the medium is probably more than enough for most people in a good sized room and on high it’s moving some serious air. I like it cranked to the max, the staff bedroom is 24x18 and it’s helps to move the air around nicely during the day and at night I aim it directly at the bed and it keeps me comfortable through the night.

I purchased a pedestal fan to put on the side of my bed to keep my cool at night. While this fan definitely moves a lot of air and with relatively lower noise, it don't think it's a good choice for this scenario. Fortunately I can use this fan in another place of my home, but I need to buy a different fan for my bedroom now. To cool a person in a bed, I think the ideal placement of a fan would be so that it is higher than the person in the bed and aiming down at them. This would allow the air to move over the person. The first issue is that this fan is relatively short and maxes out at 38". I see several other options at reach 45" or even over 50". To be fair, I think this fan can blow air at a faster speed, so if it was taller I think that would make it pretty tippy. But this fan has a solid build, it's just lower to the ground than many other fans. Also, the adjustable height range is quite small. I'm shopping for a different fan now, and many have 8", 10", or even 12"+ of adjustable height. The height adjustment on this fan is a bit annoying. Likely you'll set it and forget it, but with such a small range I'm not sure it's even worth bothering. The other issue is that the fan won't point downwards. The head pivots upwards but the lowest it will go is level. Other pedestal fans I've used will also tilt slightly downwards. I prefer my bed to be slightly higher off the ground. As a result, the best configuration I can get for this fan is that it effectively blows to the side of the person in the bed. This person would effectively block all the air and the person on the other side of them would likely not benefit from any air movement. This is why I would prefer a fan to be higher and blow downward so the air would effectively be a layer that flows over one or both people in bed. Again, this is a well-built fan. I think it will work really well as an air mover in a larger space. I'm not using in the living room where it's a fair distance from the sofa, but you can still feel the breeze well.

Air volume is perfect and the noise is very low and looks great . No remote control for it and very comfortable breeze and functional in our house. I love this fan for it is great.

This fan is amazing. Air flow is amazing, powerful flow for the stages offered. Didnt have a remote on the type i purchased. Worth every dollar spent.

It's smaller than I expected but good for a small room. Lightweight and efficient for a one room

Nice for sleeping, low level delivers enough coolness,I have mine close by half way down the bed directed at me as my hubby is always freezing* as we also have a ceiling fan. Sturdy,good for price. Mine does not have remote. No annoying lights on console. It only extends 38inches height but that doesn’t matter for me. On higher levels it pushes around cool air in room during day if needed. Not horribly big and not bad looking in the room itself.

This Vornado Fan will not work in India because it only works on 120 volt input voltage. I don’t know why Amazon is selling it in India. And when you try to return it, the return tab will ask you to call Amazon. The Amazon Service people will listen to you politely but they will keep shifting you from one team to another till you are tired and don’t want to pursue it any further. Again- don’t buy the product in India.
