FIFTY-FIFTY mudguard on a Salsa Fargo
I installed the Fifty-Fifty mountain bike fender/mud guard on my 2018 Salsa Fargo 27.5. Installation is a piece of cake. Four zip ties hold the mud guard in place. As you can see from the photos very little of the fender protrudes out the front, with most of the coverage in the rear. There are multiple holes in the mud guard to facilitate installation. You can experiment with which pairs of holes you use and vary the placement (fore and aft) of the mud guard. This Fifty-Fifty mud guard is available in black with several different accent colors. I went for the black/gray version. The graphics are relatively subdued and as you can see it looks pretty good on this bike. You can also see from the photos that there is plenty of clearance between the Schwalbe G-One Allround 27.5 tire and the fender. This mud guard reportedly fits 26’, 27.5” and 29” tires - both plus size and fat bike tires. Regarding coverage for fat bike tires…..that would obviously be dependent upon the width of the tire. I would like to try installing one of these on my Salsa Beargrease fat bike with 3.8 wide tires. Quick shipping from the vendor. Item arrived unscathed in a large padded envelope. Directions were ok; it certainly helped to see photos of other installations but basically it is a no-brainer. Comes with plenty of zip ties.

Nice mudguard, is able to clear 29+ tires
Fair price, good quality.Fitting is easy if you have typical suspension forks with the bridge in the front of the stations. I had to do my own mounting holes to make it work with my Manitou Fork that has the bridge behind the stations, also known as "reverse" arch. This arch/bridge placement is patented by Manitou for bike forks, so you won't find it on other brands and few companies cater towards it (Mucky Nutz does make mud-guards for reverse forks, but only in Black or White colors).Wanted to give this guard a try, and it worked fine with the color scheme I had in mind.Note that this was used on a Trek Stache 29+ bike, and I had no issues with it clearing the EX2 tires fitted. We will see if the larger knobs on a DHFpl will also clear it in the future, and I will perhaps update this review.

Simple and so effective! Inexpensive way to avoid dust and mud in your mouth.
How Come Something this simple that effective. The package comes with a manual, a few zip tie and the fender itself. So straightforward, you should put the zip tie thought the holes first before you try to attach it the frame or fork(different holes according to where u wanna put it). Tight a bit and adjust the position and then tight all the way. Cut the extra length and you ready to go.

Nifty-nifty, fifty-fifty
Love the concept of this item. I recently got back into riding ( former semi pro rider ) but I wish something like this was made so many years ago. Simple concept, simple purpose. I am hoping eventually they could be customizable. Took an extra minute to make sure I was installing it properly but once I got a hold of the fastening it all came together. Nice color selection, the yellow matched the hyper on my bike. If it stops raining I’ll get a chance to road tested and update my review. Really cannot beat the price on something that used to be a lot of money on a clunky version of of a fender. Really happy so far.
