Our Lexmark 905 Pro after several years of use suddenly displayed an error message that it did not support its printhead and immediately was totally useless - wouldn't print or scan. The replacement printhead was easy to install and immediately restored functionality using the ink cartridges transferred from the old one. One anomaly did occur in that the latch for one of the color cartridges initially would not click to secure it - I worked around this by inserting a pencil eraser behind the tab to wedge the latch against the cartridge which worked just fine. When I later replaced the cartridge after it ran dry, the latch clicked into place on its own on the new one.

I waited awhile before posting this review because I had read that these refurbished print heads didn’t always work. It worked great for me and continues to work just as if it were brand new. I do wish that they had an option to ship the old one to them...then they could refurbish that one. I ended up throwing it away. 😕
