Munchkin Baby Car Mirror for Rear Facing Car Seats, Night Light LED Pivot 360 Baby in-Sight Adjustable Auto Mirror, Black

Update: I purchased a new one and the remote for the new one worked with the old mirror and the old remote worked for the new mirror. Weird but I now have exactly what I wanted and the mirror now works as it should. I'm happy with the product just wish I didn't have to buy 2. I purchased this off of my baby registry, set it up in preparation for the arrival of my baby and now that we're days away from having her, I tried to turn it on and try it out and it doesn't work. All new batteries and everything and it's a dud. I'm extremely upset about this because my vehicle doesn't have a light for the back seats so It was important to me to have a baby mirror that had a light so I could see her.

My 10 month old has hated the car since he was 3 months old. Nothing I've done has helped. We added another car and decided to try this mirror. He LOVES it! He has fallen asleep in the car each time, the lights are his favorite, it was easy to install, and seems very durable.i am incredibly thankful for this mirror!

How can I order just the remote? My daughter has the mirror but her remote don’t work!

Works very well, helps my baby feel better in the car at night. I wish I could change the dimness. It’s a good, big size, I can see my baby and her whole seat very well in my mirror. It feels very stable when installed correctly (which is easy to do). Aside from the dimness, I love it!

I got this item through our baby registry, and thought the features of it were better than the others. I ended up giving this car seat baby mirror three chances. Tested and returned each one. They all didn't work! Even munchkin's customer support was sorry and said this is "highly unusual and unfortunate". I don't know man.... If it doesn't work even after two replacements, maybe it's a product design issue? With each one that arrived, I got four fresh AAA batteries for the mirror, installed them, and tested the remote. Nothing happened. First one: Fiddled with it more. Nothing. Even got and replaced the battery in the remote. Nothing. After 20 minutes of testing all the buttons and all sorts of angles, it lit up once. Just once. I never got it to light again. Is it teasing me? Anyways, too unreliable. I asked Amazon for a replacement. Second try: put in AAAs, no go. Switched remote battery, no go. I read a review on Amazon that said it worked later in the day, so I waited until nighttime and tried again. Nothing. With this second one it didn't even light up once. I called munchkin support who was as flabbergasted as I was. They apologized and asked me to replace it through Amazon. Third one: same deal. No go. I got it to light up twice in probably a total of 20 minutes of fiddling. No idea what angle or pressure of pushing the button worked. I couldn't deal with this anymore, so started a refund request. Sad.

We have 2 of these - 1 for each vehicle. I love the lights so you can check on baby at night without disturbing him. I put the remote on my sun visor and am able to turn it on with no issues. Super easy to attach to the headrest - SUPER STURDY. I have had 0 issues with it moving at all on our wonderful PA pothole-filled roads (with that being said, the mirror will shake when we do hit a bump but never moves from where I set it)! Very easy to adjust and angle. I would absolutely recommend this, and again, I wouldn't buy any other mirror - this one has it all and it is totally worth the little bit of extra money from the basic mirror.

For the money I paid for this mirror I expected it yo be exceptional. It’s a nice mirror, don’t get me wrong but I want to share my opinion incase it helps you decide it’s not worth the money to you. The biggest complaint I have is that the screws are CHEAP and strip easily. There is a battery in the remote but the mirror requires 4 AAA batteries. In my trying to remove the screw on battery cover plate, I stripped the screw very easily. So use extra caution there. I think it’s silly the battery compartment requires a screw anyways. A simple snap latch would have worked much better. Once my husband was able to drill out the stripped screw I realized there was a washer and the screw itself was bent. Upon install, the remote doesn’t have the best capability. It works fine but I find I’m punching down quite hard trying to get the buttons to engage with the mirror. Before purchasing I was worried the light would be too bright. Here is a picture of the mirror on in my GMC Yukon. I think this can be helpful but for the price point it might not be worth it at the end of the day. $30 is top tier for a simple baby mirror

I had a different mirror I loved that sadly broke before I purchased this one. Now that I have this one, it is my new favorite! So many evenings driving in the dark and I wanted to see if my baby was asleep, but without turning on the cab lights I was unable to tell. This mirror can show me! Included is an easy to use remote with a visor clip. There are four different modes- 30 second soft white light to check on baby, soft white light, continuous color changing light, and stationary blue, green, yellow, or orange light. To save battery there is an automatic shutoff at 30 minutes. These different settings are perfect for a quick check, entertain baby, or long term see to play in the dark. The mirror itself is a good size, not overly big, but definitely not small. Its reflection is clear, not distorted, and good quality. It also has buttons on the side to switch between settings and turn on/off. It attaches to the head rest easily by two sets of straps with buckles that go over and around. Once secured, the mirror is sturdy and doesn’t wobble or shift. It is easy to adjust the mirror itself to where it needs to be positioned. Unlike other reviewers, I never had a problem with the mirror or remote not working. It does require batteries, the mirror doesn’t come with batteries, but the remote does. I highly recommend this product.

A luz é bem fraca, não ilumina o rosto como achei que faria, mas o tamanho do espelho é bom. As luzes coloridas são boas pra distrair o bebê. O controle só funciona se ficar no para-sol do passageiro.

I bought one and the remote did not work well. Then I returned and got another one and this one has been very good so far.

Mi bebé lloraba mucho en los viajes en carro, me ayudó mucho a que se acostumbrara más rápido y ahora lo mantiene distraído y calmado, lo recomiendo mucho !

LOVE THE SIZE, THE LOOKS, EASY TO INSTALL, STURDY WHEN INSTALLED. JUST FEEL THAT THE RMEOVE CONTROL DOESN'T WORK VERY WELL AND THE BATTERIES DIE WAYYYY TOOO FAST...
