Hachette PUB7604400 Book Box and Module Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Microphone

My son has been asking for this for a while and was happy to get it. Works as advertised.

My kids absolutely loved this toy. My 3 yr old figured out how to read the color combinations in the book to play the songs and my 1 yr old loved the music and holding the microphone. However, it only lasted 2 days before it stopped playing music. The buttons still work but the music will no longer play. We are very disappointed as we can't seem to find a fix for this problem.

Tunes are easily played by pushing different combinations of the colored buttons. The combinations and the words are in the book that is included. Many of the words to familiar tunes have been changed for Mickey characters. For children learning their colors, it would be better if the red button was red instead of orange.

So, my daughter LOVES this book, but more so the microphone. After one week of playing with it frequently, it no longer works. We are so sad! We changed the batteries but the buttons seem stuck and the music is at a very low volume. I couldn't find any info online on how to fix it. Anyone have suggestions?
