To be completely honest, I wasn't sure about this at first considering the size and price of the bottle. I was using another brand of Marula oil which was much more expensive, and wasn't sure about the potency of this oil. But after reading the description and reviews I decided to give it a shot and am so glad I did. I can't believe the quality of the oil, especially since the price is so reasonable!It really works to hydrate my skin and all the little irritations I had are now gone. I have oily/combination acne prone adult skin. As soon as I feel a break out coming on, I put extra oil on the spot. It minimizes the problem site a great deal, if not get rid of it. It may seem counterintuitive to put an oil on your face- especially if you have oily skin or problematic skin, but trust me, it really works well. It's a light oil that absorbs well. I usually give a product a 2 week trial period but I noticed an improvement in my skin within a 3-4 days. I should note that I apply this oil after I wash my face at night-- I try to get it on my face within 2 minutes after washing. But that's just my preference. I use it in lieu of a traditional moisturizer. But you can certainly use it in conjunction with one. It boosts the efficacy of products you pair with it so sometimes I use it with a CoQ10 serum.There is no scent (other than the scent of the oil itself), no fragrance added which at first I thought I didn't like, but now appreciate it more. I'd rather have the pure oil without added fragrance. My husband has been using this oil and says his face is softer. He wants me to order more so we have it at all times! Try it!It amazes me to think that the nut which this oil is derived from can survive near drought like conditions as well as the harsh African climate. But it just goes to show you the nutrients must be jam packed so it can survive-- and it's true, it's high in antioxidants like vitamins C and E, amino acids, essential fatty acids. It really is a natural anti aging product. No, I don't work for this company nor did I receive the product in exchange for a review. I purchased it and gave it a try. I get enthusiastic over great products. I do my homework on products that are going to be used on my face/body, so when I find a good one, I write a lot! Give it an honest try, I don't think you'll be sorry.

tl;dr - Definitely worth trying if you'd like softer, frizz-free hair or if you have dry, flaky skin.The skin between my eyebrows and eyelids used to flake similar to dandruff. I was using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion for years before moving to this. I didn't like that the Neutrogena Lotion burned my skin a bit when applying, especially around my eyes. I was always skeptical to switch to anything else because it either made my skin look greasy or just didn't work. I've been using this marula oil now for 4 months, and I haven't had any issues. The photo I've attached is after about 2 months use on my face and hair. It doesn't have any filters or retouching done to it, but it was taken with my front-facing camera on my phone, and I think that kinda smooths out stuff a bit.I rub 3 drops in my hands after getting out of the shower and rub in on my face, beard, and neck. I then rub 5 drops in my hair and scalp (I have medium length curly hair) to control frizz, dandruff, and make it feel smooth. It absorbs pretty much completely, and fairly fast. I've noticed I'll get a bit of a shine on my nose if I put too much on my face, but I haven't had any pimples since starting to use this. I'm not typically prone to pimples though.The photo I see with the product now looks like it has a different top though. Mine is a rubber topped eye dropper. I like that because you can really control the amount you're using. The one I see in the photo above looks more like a pump. I might consider getting an eye dropper if you get one with a pump as more than a couple drops WILL make your hair or skin look greasy/shiny. Also, it hasn't completely gotten rid of my dandruff, but it's definitely lessened the amount I get.For the hair, I do shower and wash/condition daily. Yesterday, I tried not washing my hair during my shower, and I still rubbed 5 drops into my hair and scalp. It looked quite greasy for the rest of the day. So I'd say only rub in a few drops after washing.Another unexpected side effect has been how it's helped my hands. My fingers typically peel a few times a year, which is both annoying and ugly. They haven't done so since I started using this oil.

This oil is very moisturizing and can be used on your face, body, and hair. I love this natural product with it's light nutty fragrance. This is cold pressed so it retains its active ingredients. It's also a virgin oil. You use only 2 small drops for your face, neck and declotte. It is absorbed very quickly. It is not greasy. If you feel greasy then you have used too much. A little goes a long way. It is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a pump top to keep this oil from light and air to maintain its integrity longer. There are no chemicals ..only natural oil which is good for you. I will continue to buy this brand.UPDATE: I have very bad discoloration on my legs due to severe bruising. The bruises have healed over a year ago, but the discoloration remained.I am very fair complected and this discoloration looks very bad. For the last week, I decided to put Marula oil on my legs at night. Wow! I can see areas that are returning to their normal color. I will continue to use this on my legs and give you an update in about 2 more months to let you know how my skin is reacting. I posted this because NOTHING I have used worked as well as I see this oil working. I am sold on Marula Oil from this company.

I work at a spa where we sell another brand that costs about $80 for about an ounce and a half. Even with my employee discount that's expensive. So I found this on Amazon and am pleased to say this is as good as what we sell at work. It's a great buy! You will see results if used daily on your neck and face. I also use on my hands and cuticles and rub whatever's left on my scalp at night.
