Style over substance.
I have Paltrow’s other healthy eating/living books and think they are actually very good. I have no interest in her as an actress and whilst I know that she probably had lots of help in writing her cookbooks, they are still good and have interesting ideas. This one however is not. This is simply a vanity project with Paltrow in her underwear on far too many of the pages. The recipes are uninspiring and bland. Not a patch on her previous books.

Not a patch on her previous books
I unexpectedly loved It's All Good and It's All Easy and have been looking forward to this one. However, I am rather disappointed and I feel that the lack of a partner chef may be part of the problem. Some of the recipes are interesting (the seed cracker is something I wish to try) but they seem a little snacky and bitty. I shall try out recipes for lunch but I feel for dinner they will be lacking and certainly not enough for families. I realise that this book is aimed at clean eating but so really was It's All Good, which is a much much better set of recipes. I will continue to use her other books a lot as I have yet to find a duff recipe and the family like them. I hope that she will revert to collaboration in any future book and bring out something similar to those.

A celebrity book that actually is worth the hype.
I love this book and cannot praise it highly enough. If you are like me full of good intentions but not the best cook in the world then this is for you.Having overindulged over christmas this was just the tonic i needed. Everything is simple to make healthy and tastes good.I honestly turned a corner with this book after struggling for years with my health.Its the small things that make a big difference for example a quick and easy way to make cauliflower rice using a grater why did i never think of that before?Or try chocolate chia pudding yummy and quick or the delicious soccatas with 3 different versions. Thumbs up even my fussy kids ate them. Then i made kale aglio e olio with brown rice spaghetti which i could easy get addicted to. So far everything has been really nice and really simple a no brainer really. Plus the section at the back with advise on health matters doesn,t lecture and is actually useful i,m trying out some of the advise right now concerning gut health and candida overgrowth and its already having an impact. At last a celebrity book that lives up to the hype and does what is says on the packet. Great stuff.

Overly harsh
Just bought this as am looking for inspiration for some new clean eating recipes. I am vegetarian and so was worried having read the other reviews but have been pleasantly surprised. Personally I think they are overly harsh. I have 2 of Gwyneth's other books and I think this one adds to my collection nicely.

Super tasty recipe
Amazing, really tasty food. And thank you for all the vegan options. We are just trying a January vegan challenge and it’s actually very easy! And both me and my husband our real foodies...
