I’ve ordered dates from Whole Foods before but these dates are un edible. I’ve only just opened them ( so passed return date) they are dry, crumbly & taste out of date. They have a long shelf life normally but there is something not right with them 🙁

these dates are very tasty they have the right amount of moisture a pleasure to eat well worth the money.

The last bag I bought had a good flavour. They are very dry, which makes them tough to bite. It would be better if they contained more moisture. They have a long shelf life of almost a year.The bag of the same brand I bought previously had a shelf life of only 6 weeks, and I was disappointed by this. They also had an unusual 'lemony' flavour.

I love these dates ! As others commented, these are a little unique dates. I normally say no gently when offered dates in the office etc . I never liked long soft dates. But this one ☝️ I managed to love ! Dates are super foods as ideal nutritions. You can find lots of different ways to consume them in the internet. I was originally thinking to boost my morning smoothies with protein . But ! Just eating them makes me so happy ! They are dried - it reminds me a black sugar sweets . Outside is slightly crystallised or crispy ( very sweet but unique tastes just close to black sugar to hook you ) and inside is like .. soft sweets . These dates fit me well because they are not like other dates ! I still can’t believe that they are all natural ! Nature makes them so sweet. For me , this is like chocolates Or cakes . Possibly more. I feel appreciation to the beauty of natural creation. We still have loads of amazing things in our earth . They are like jewels, precious. I am so delighted to be able to have them with such an affordable price . Recommend them to those who don’t like dates !

Firstly let me say I love dates & I eat them daily however they were out of stock when ordered the supermarket like I usually do. I'm disabled & pretty much housebound so I thought I would try amazon. I wish I hadnt. I wish I hadn't ordered so many too. These are without a doubt the worst dates I have ever eaten. They're dry, hard & taste stale. I know they probably aren't stale & they've just been treated differently from all other dates I have eaten over the last 50 years. If I had purchased them from the supermarket I would have complained & asked for a refund but sending things back to Amazon is difficult for me due to my health issues. I might try chatting to Amazon to see if there is a remedy but regardless these are not nice at all, they're awful. I always try to leave good reviews but I couldn't find anything nice to say about these. Don't buy if you enjoy your dates fresh & sticky because these are absolutely not that. Sorry but that's my experience & I gather from the reviews I should be read prior to purchase that I am not alone

Not particularly tasty by themselves (at least my packet wasn’t) but ok as a cooking ingredient. I used my cooking oat and date cakes

Great taste, just pitted dates no vegetable oil, great for putting in blender to make treats or just snacking
