Must have herbal tincture.
Chaparral. One of my very favorite herbs. I've even come to love the flavor, which is honestly quite ghastly. There's a reason "creosote bush" is one of chaparral's common names. But when I need it -- for an infection (cold or something), the taste is actually quite appealing to me. I can't imagine many people feeling this way, but they should just get over it and take it anyway because it's one of the world's great, great antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal herbs. I would never want to be without it. I used to make my own tincture, but this is a very good alternative.

Great product, horrible taste
I purchased this as chaparral is known for its anti bacterial, anti fungal properties, when I feel I am catching a cold , I take a dropper in the morning until i feel better however its is ghastly to ingest the afterbite/taste is REALLY strong, so be forewarned if you bought this for that purpose.

Effective for home remedies, especially as disinfectant
I use chaparral extract for a variety of home remedies - boosting the immune system, as ear drops to prevent any infections, in the nose to avoid getting sick, on cuts and scrapes to disinfect. I have even mixed it with benzonite clay and put it on breakouts to help them heal faster. I love the smell of creosote / chaparral and find this tincture to be effective.

GOOD STUFF - HIGHLY CURATIVE
I used to buy the dry leaf flakes and make a tea, but that has become increasingly difficult to find in our local health-food stores, so I decided to get this nice-strong extract through Amazon. Like the dry product, the extract has a strongly unpleasant medicinal taste, so it's not something you drink for pleasure, but it is reported to have strong anti-cancer, and tumor destroying properties. I have taken it on several occasions for a few days at a time and gotten relief from various nagging painful ailments rather that consult a physician, and each time the problem has gone away after a few days. You don't want to ingest this stuff on any regular basis, however, because it is rather toxic to you liver. The FDA actually banned it for a while, but for some reason (thankfully) the product is available again. I figure they came to realize that making it contraband was futile, because the desert southwest of the USA is covered with the stuff and it can easily be wild-harvested in huge quantities. Good stuff! but be careful!
