The Stone - A Button To Find Your Phone, Text Eta, Emergency Call or Control Your Camera - Glacier

Button works sometimes and sometimes does not, which renders it useless :(

This is THE SINGLE worst product I have ever bought. I think if I had paid $30 for an actual piece of rock I would have been happier. I usually read the reviews before I spend my money, but with this I somehow was lured by the cuteness of it and it sounded like something that might have some utility .. like perhaps finding my keys or a missing dog. The true genius of this device is that the thing goes to sleep when you close the APP, so unless you are obsessed about whether the app is open and talking to the little useless chunk of plastic it has zero utility if you a) forgot to leave the app open and b) forgot where you put your keys. IF you looking for something that does this .. I believe Tile i what you are after. Please DO NOT buy this.

Pretty useless. bought 2 and would much rather have my money back. I was a fan of the pebblebee key fionder and found it worked better than the tile brand so i had high hopes for this, but save your money. wait for them to come out with something more useful. please note this is being used iphone and with ios phone software

I was so very interested in getting this since I manage to misplace my phone all the time. It arrived and it was a lot smaller than I expected but it came with a pouch and a ringlet to attach to your key chain. The stone is in a rounded pyramid shape that measures about 1 inch. I purchased this to use with my iPhone 6s and by downloading the stone app you can pair the device with your phone and attempt to track it. For me, I wasn't always successful at this task. I pair the phone with my stone and I configured all the appropriate settings—you can set an alarm to notify you when you an in range of your stone, you can set alarm when you are out of range of your stone; or when your stone moves. And yes, it will help you locate your phone but this task is not always so successful for me. It will always notify me when I am out of range...whether I move with my phone and away from stone or if I move my stone—I set the alarm setting to police sirens and it it spot on—as a matter of fact, once this happened to go off when we were in the car and all the passengers thought there was a police car behind use. So it does do a great loud job at notifying you but it doesn't always succeed well at it when I need to find my phone—could be because it it out of bluetooth range but clearly, if you lost it, that why you're looking. Your bluetooth must be on for this ALL THE TIME to work but the stone app does not have to be launched. I was very successful in pairing the stone with my camera and for taking selfies so that was easy—the rest not so easy. The company is great at replying back to you with questions and they do send you a link to help, and for this item, I did require a lot of help unfortunately. I am not loving it nor do I dislike this item—it has great potential but for now, it is not totally reliable for me. You can set it to test a list of people, call someone, IFTTT (if you have an account) and workflow app....the last 2 I have not tested but all the others I have and I was only able to succeed with sounding the alarm and doing selfies. In my opinion, this is still a work in progress—I will continue to use and try and see if I can reap all the rewards that others seem to have been getting...i'lll keep trying! But I definitely will not be buying anymore of these until I get this little thing figured out so more...a work in progress going in the right direction!I purchased pebbles STONE at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I was intrigued by this item and not really sure what to expect but being a bit of tech lover, I had to try it out. The Stone, smart button by Pebblebee looks exactly as it's described. It literally looks like a stone pebble from the beach, very light weight and smooth to the touch and features a bee design with a single button integrated into the design on the back. It can be stuck on to any surface or used on the go with the included key chain. I'd definitely recommend replacing the key chain loop with something a bit sturdier because the one provided is very flimsy and could easily become loose. I attached the stone to my car/home keys...The first thing you'll want to do is download the Stone app. I have an iphone 6S and had no issues downloading the free app and syncing it to my phone in a matter of minutes. At first I was a little confused with what I was supposed to be doing in the app... I really didn't find it very user friendly as there is not a lot of information given about each feature. Basically, the stone is a shortcut (smart wireless remote) to your phone and other smart devices and can be set to text a list of people, make calls, take pictures/selfies, play music, find your phone and many other options if you connect it to an IFTTT account or Workflow App... You can also receive alerts from it's motion sensor, temperature gage and range finder & is a discrete way to alert your friends of your location and situation if you ever feel unsafe.You can set two actions at a time.. The first action is activated by clicking the stone once. The second action is activated by holding the button on the stone for a few seconds... I chose the selfie action as my one click and the alarm as my long click... The alarm is SUPER loud so I wouldn't recommend having this as your one click option in case you accidentally press it... I usually use the find my iphone app when I misplace my phone but using the stone is much easier at the click of a button instead of having to locate another i device first, log into the account etc and is the primary reason I got the stone to begin with because I am always misplacing my phone!I've had this for a few weeks now but haven't really played around with all of the features yet. The two actions I have saved work well as long as I have my Bluetooth turned on which was a bit of a learning curve for me as I got frustrated when I couldn't get it to work! This is a cool little device with lots of possibilities but could do with a little instruction manual and better instructions on the app...I received this smart button at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review!
