I've had this since the beginning of the year and have used it multiple times, it works great with my Surface Pro 4 and has allowed me to connect to many other devices (projectors, TVs, smart screens, etc). Here are my thoughts:Pro:- Easy to use (plug it in)- Great options (VGA, HDMI, DVI): Allows me to carry one item but still have options for connectivity- Price/Quality: Good quality at a great priceCons:- Short: The cord is a little short- I use it with my surface pro 4 so it ends up hanging (this puts some strain on the port), however it's the best connector I've tried so far so I just support it when needed)- Single Connection: This is only for one connection at a time (if using HDMI you can't use VGA, etc)

I have a 2015 iMac that I love but I'm used to 2 screens at work, and really needed to have it for when I'm working on research papers. I found an old HP monitor (VGA connection) in my attic and wanted to hook the two together. After researching devices on Amazon, I found this. Hesitant but drawn to the price, I went for it. I am NOT disappointed. It works beautifully. I am so thrilled that for a mere $15 I now have a second screen hooked up to my Mac.*** UPDATE: 4 YEARS LATER..still works like a dream. Bought a second adapter and now have a 3rd monitor hooked to my Mac. While my older monitor used a VGA, my newer monitor is HDMI...love the versatility of this adapter.

Works good, especially for the money. I think maybe it confuses the computer sometimes, and once in a while unexpected things happen with the connection, but unplugging it, putting it back together fixes all. This could be a problem with my other hardware to be honest though.The construction seems slightly flimsy (though no more than an apple converter) and I fully expect to have to buy another in a year or so. When I do, it will probably be this model again, as it is a great value.

great product. I ordered it in a rush order as I needed something for my 2015 Mac book pro to do a presentation and this works like a charm. tested only HDMI so far as I had a HDMI cable with me. Highly recommend. (Buying from apple costs a WHOLE Lot more and you end up only with a HDMI option and no VGA option for that much money thru apple)

I am a teacher and use this during class almost every single day, and so far it's been working really well! I love that it has adapters for 3 different types of cables. This is very useful when working on a campus like mine where different rooms use different types of technology. I would recommend this product if you're looking for a dependable adapter!

This is the second converter I bought from CableDeconn, which did not work either. Both have the same problem: the color is faded, brightness is extremely low, and there are shadows next to icons and fonts. I have another converter from Kinps, which unfortunately was discontinued but works for me for 2 years now. I switched the CableDeconn and the Kinps converters back and forward, so I am pretty sure it is the converter that has the problem. I cannot use this cable at all.------updated Apr 10------------The customer service contacted me and they troubleshot the issue. The product indeed did not work. So they apologized, recommended another product and gave me a great discount on it. I did loose some of my time, but the customer service is the best.

It just didn't work. The image kept flashing on/off on the display. My colleague's connector worked fine.Getting my refund. Save your money and don't buy this.

i was hoping to use this as a multi monitor connection and while i can hook up 3 monitors to it i only have mirroring and no ability to expand my desktop over all monitors connected. works great in attaching laptop to tv ect!
