Totally BambooSan Diego City Life Bamboo Serving and Cutting Board

Bought as a going away gift for friends. Expected a chintzy, poorly imaged “souvenir” like you find in the tourist trap shops. This was not that! Decent thickness and oh the details! I was amazed to find our neighborhood named! Usually we get swallowed by our bigger more well known neighbors on maps. Fun gift! Would not use for actual cutting, without flipping it over.May be better as a charcuterie platter, as I don’t think the image is burned that deeply, and likely would not stand up long, to daily knife use. Recipients LOVED it!

A friend was moving to San Diego so I served some cheese on this as their going away party. Many compliments...

The price is amazing given the quality of this. It is so unique and nice, heavy, sturdy bamboo. The design is so great...it is so very well made. I gave this as a gift to a friend who is hard to buy for and she loved it so much. She was showing everyone. This is her area so to see all the local cities on the board was really cool. One a scale of 1-10, this is an 11.

I typically stay away from wood cutting boards because they tend to hold more bacteria, but as a new west coast transplant this cutting board is so helpful in getting to know the neighborhoods in San Diego. It's great to take a small break in cutting boards to memorize the neighborhoods around me.It's very sturdy, and easy to clean. Good amount of weight to it too so it doesn't feel cheap.

Wanted something that could be used either as an actual cutting board, or kitchen decor - this piece can go either way.
