Writes and draws smoothly and amazingly, and the pigment is dark. The marker lasts fairly well for a sharpie.

I have a few sets of colored sharpies, but bizarrely, the purple ones in my existing sets do not contain purple ink. Although the purple cap and purple parts of the pen body are a deep vibrant purple, the tip is clearly bright pink, and indeed they draw a bright pink color. That's pretty annoying.I was pleased to see that I could order a pair of purple sharpies, rather than a whole set. The new purple ones draw a deep, vibrant, royal purple. Just what I needed!!
