Awesome Jokes That Every 7 Year Old Should Know!

Gave this as a birthday gift to a seven year old relative together with a new football he had requested. I watched him open the football which he loved then this joke book - his face fell, 'I don't like books' he cried! Then his Dad pointed out it was a joke book and his face changed immediately! 'Oh cool' he grinned ..... it occurred to me what a great book for children who are a little book shy (as well as those that aren't) It is thinner than I expected but that's not a bad thing as easy to hold, slip into a bag and the jokes are easy to read and to find I would think. The jokes are pitched right for the age group I thought with various type jokes including the enjoyable 'knock knock' variety. A nice stocking filler or inexpensive additional birthday present.

Bought this as a Christmas gift and my nearly-seven-year-old absolutely loves it. The jokes really do cater to the humour of a seven year old. And that’s the very beauty of this joke book. My son is allowed to take something into school with him once a week and by popular demand, it seems, it is always this much-adored book because his friends demand he brings it in! There is even an opportunity for your child to send their own joke to the author, Mat Waugh. My son did exactly that as he has come up with one chuckler of his own (out of about fifty that bombed straight away). He was so delighted when Mat emailed back. He can’t wait to be eight to get the next book...

I was really excited to give this to my kid as she is quite the comedian, we went throught the book and thought the jokes were a bit dry. Presented a couple to friends and family and just got a further confirmation of our initial thoughts. Sorry, the book is a total flop.

Bought this as a birthday present for a joke-loving seven-year-old, and he absolutely adored it! (To a slightly exhausting degree for his poor parents... He wouldn't put it down, even for dinner.) I'm not sure all the jokes were quite at the right level, though - the maturity level of the humour was about right, but some of the words or the phrasing of some of the jokes were a bit of a challenge. (For example, the word 'Assyrian' doesn't crop up that much in primary school these days, I believe.) That said, the recipient enjoyed reading the jokes out even if he didn't always understand them. If you require a present for a seven-year-old who likes jokes, this is probably just the ticket.

I bought this for my son because his joke telling skills were awful and thought this would help him..Finally he can tell a funny joke using this book and the jokes actually make me laugh.My son also likes it, he opened it on Christmas morning and smiled and told us jokes from it.
