Newpoint 180 Thread Count Waterproof Cover Mattress Pad, California King

This is a great mattress pad. It does a spectacular job of protecting the mattress. The only problem I ran into is after putting it in the washing machine, the mesh that holds it onto the mattress tore off. I have other mattress pads from the same company and never had this problem before. The manufacturer doesn't appear to have a web site so trying to figure out how to get in touch with them for warranty support is a bit of a challenge.

I'm living in a college dorm right now and these mattresses will be the death of me. I got this mattress pad partially for comfort but mostly to keep my sheets from sliding around on the vinyl fabric of the mattress. I was surprised to see how thin it was when I first opened the box, but once I got it on the bed and laid on it, I felt better about my purchase. It's not going to change how the mattress feels (as far as comfort goes) but I don't slip around so much getting in and out of bed. My sheets don't slip around (I have Sheex, kind of like workout clothing fabric so very slipper to start with) as much. If you're looking to make the mattress more comfortable, get this AND a foam topper (the mattress pad will hold it down under your sheets) but don't assume that this will drastically change your mattress in any way. It's shipped from the Amazon warehouse and arrived in about a week after I placed the order.

On first application, one side of the knitted skirt/pocket just ripped from the seam while being tucked in a 12-in mattress. Well, I would have just dismissed it but the opposite side ripped too. Returned.

It wasn't as thick as I thought it would be and I had hoped the material would cover the whole mattress, instead of switching to the thinner material. So, it doesnt prevent the topper from the store. Not my usual quality I would buy at the store. It stays on the mattress well.

Got this for my son's dorm bed so I've not slept on it myself. It seems fine, although he could care less. I bet he's not even changed his sheets all semester!

This is a great cover for a mattress we keep in a closet as a spare. It keeps the moisture and the dust out. Nice price and very well constructed.

Nice, well-priced mattress pad. It fit our California king mattress well. The only thing to be careful of is that, since it's waterproof, when you take it out of the washing machine, you may get water on your floor because the pad is not absorbing any of the water from the machine. If there is a "pocket" or fold in the pad as you take it out of the washing machine, there may be water held there that didn't get wisked away in the spin cycle that will end up on your floor.

I bought this for my son's dorm bed and it ripped at the side after four days. Obviously very poor quality.

Had to separate our King bed to two long twins, pads were as good as the excellent king pad I had. well done. Have now put beds back to a King and am using both the long twins ordered here and the King. Would definitely buy again.

The elastic just fell apart the minute I took it out of the package!!!

I bought this 2 1/2 years ago, and it has been perfect! Since that time I ended up buying a deep pocket mattress, and I think from tugging at the corners too much, I’ve caused it to tear. I liked it so much, I just came to order it again, but sadly I can’t justify the new price.Too bad, it’s an excellent product.

I am very happy with this mattress cover, fits good and is quite thick. Would definetly recommend this to anyone.
