Lots of details but not too much
Do you want to know the history of Rocky Horror and not just the movie? Do you want to know when the musical played where and who starred? Do you want to know this in slightly less detail and with a slightly later endpoint that "Still The Beast Is Feeding: 40 Years of Rocky Horror"? Then this is your book. It was, for me, an easier read than STBIF and had a more conversational/friendly tone. I found the timeline at the end fascinating. Every date of birth for every producer, director, star, etc. and the release dates of the movies from Science Fiction Double Feature, as well as the opening dates for the show and movie and other important milestones.

I went into the book expecting the same sort of campy fun that the movie was
I've always been a huge fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I was excited to see a FAQ about it.I've only ever seen the movie, but I knew it was a stage show. I went into the book expecting the same sort of campy fun that the movie was. And while it was a bit dry, it was interesting. I've always loved Tim Curry, so I enjoyed reading his experience as Frank and how it always came up in his career.Admittedly, I skimmed through parts of it. I'm not familiar with a lot of the people who had something to do with Rocky {this covers everything from set/costume designers to actors and music}. For me, the best part was the chronological list of important Rocky news and key actors.Overall, if you're a fan of Rocky {regardless it's stage or movie} this has a lot of intriguing stories and photos.**Huge thanks to Cinema Books and Edelweiss for providing the arc in exchange for an honest review**

Comprehensive, but didn't really learn anything new and the author needs to amend a few details for future publications. Susan Sarandon did her own singing for the film and was not dubbed by Belinda Sinclair (London Janet) or Abigail Haness (LA Janet), and Ade Edmondson played Brad in the 90 West End Revival and Ed Tudor-Pole played Riff-Raff.
