This glove is a great idea and works well. My dogs love being rubbed with it. And the excess hair on my short to medium coated dogs is easily removed. The dogs seem to like it better than other types of brushes I've used. It also spreads the natural oils down through the hair. I have not used it for shampooing them, but I am sure they will love it, and so will I.The only thing I might add to improve the glove is to extend the velcro tab that fits around the wrist. It needs to have more velcro and a slightly longer tab to keep the glove more securely on the hand. My wrists are small (hands on the medium/large size). I am not able to tighten it enough on my wrist to keep it on. When I am rubbing vigorously on my dogs' bodies the glove starts to pull off my hand. I have been trying to tighten it, but unless I duct tape them on it is not going to stay in place. It likely will be even worse when I shampoo the dogs and my hands get wet and soapy.Otherwise, it is pretty perfect.

This was an instant hit with my 2 cats and dog! It's really well made, not flimsy at all. Pretty much as soon as I took it out of it's packaging the cats were loving it and couldn't wait their turn, so I had to go back and forth. The dog got in on it too, she loves it as well. I have to brush my cats because they shed and this picks up a lot more hair than their brush and they enjoy it more. I'm really happy I got this and so are they!

I was a little skeptical when I ordered this but needed a simple product as my dogs are nervous skittish 'fraidy cats. They were scared of this too at first but I think they're coming round since it seems to feel so darn GOOD! And the glove does a good job of getting out hair and is easy to clean. It's a bit big for my hand but I am going to keep it because it's the best product I've found so far!

I bought this product for my dog, a lab mix. She doesn't like being brushed but loves to be petted/massaged, so this product is perfect. It does a good job removing everyday hair, and it's a cinch to remove the loose hair from the glove afterwards. I recommend this product for dogs with "smooth" coat.I don't think this would work for dogs with thick double coats, who "molt" twice a year (I had previously owned a husky-type of dog). This glove would not work on that kind of coat, but for a lab, it's perfect.

We have used these types of petting gloves before but never a great one like this! This glove drives our cats wild because it not only smooths their fur, it brushes them and removes the pesky underfur that sheds all over the house. When I am done brushing them (petting them) with this glove, it is totally filled up with the fur. Then I just clean it and start petting the kitty again. It is the best glove. Our cats and us both Thank you for making it!!!

This does not collect the dog hair even the loose hair. I have a German Shepard and she sheds there are always loose hairs on her that fly off all over the house. I purchased this to collect all that loose hair. But literally nothing just a couple hairs. I wasn't expecting the world with this mit and thinking that it was going to be a miracle cure to the shedding. But in the time i brushed her with this the amount of hair if got out of it i would have done a better job just picking it out by hand.

Let me first say that my dog LOVES this. She is short-haired and sheds year round. This pulled out most of her undercoat and she quite enjoyed it. However, the silocone nubs seem to be dry or poorly made because after one week of use they began to break off.

I use the glove on my cat after I brush her to remove leftover loose hairs. It works well, but it's a little bit of hassle to remove the hair from the glove. All in all, it's a good product.
