This is a good review for beginners in the coroner’s field. Or medic on scene of unnatural death to handle till proper authorities arrive. A good study book . That has been updated from the original.

I got the most recent edition to replace an ancient 1980's version I have had for decades. Although I have retired from the practice of forensic pathology, I now teach a forensic class to high-schoolers and though a new lease of life was needed for this text. Of course there has been some updated material over the last 40+ years, but the biggest change is that pictures are now in full color, whereas all the pictures in the old edition (many of them still are in this edition) were all black and white. This edition will now outlast me, as I won't be around to buy another one in another 40 years.

Very thorough reference book.

I heard this is the Bible of pathology criminal investigation of the death. A must have. So i got it and i am not disappointed. A very detailed and easy to read book. I am a Forensic Science student and i am glad i got this book.
