Cons - None except if you don't have a 1ohm stable amp as you need one if you want a pair of these subs. Pros - I have two of these subs hard hitting bass from a high end ported box powered by a 4000watt Boss Armor (economy amp) and they absolutely can box anyone's ears when cranked to their limits. DVCs are by far the best when it comes to performance. You literally double the wattage going through and you can hear the difference when properly equipped. The boss amp is 1ohm stable which runs a pair of the TSW310D4 perfectly! These are by far the best bang for buck subs I have ever purchased. I've owned several other car audio systems in my days and this one goes at the top. Its amazing how much subs have advanced in the last five years. My $1500 set of 10" Rockfords from 2006 don't even stand a chance against these subs that I spent under $200 for a pair :) . Its always great to have the latest technology and Pioneer once again delivers at cost. Need I say more?

I just installed two of these in my neon in a vented box connected to a 15 year old 1000w legacy 4 channel amp bridged into two. They are running at 8 ohms as my amp will not run at 2 ohms. These subs replaced two older legacy 10", 450w. One of these blows both of the legacies away... And I'm only pushing around 65w rms to each. I also have two 12" Kenwoods in a bandpass. They are still no comparison for these pioneers. Love this product. Definitely worth the money. On a side note, I just ordered a Crunch GPV3500. (Can't wait to get it) :) Will post back to inform you of how they handle this kind of power. Update: After getting these connected to the new amp, I'm not overly impressed. They put out a ton of bass for a ten, but I would highly recommend spend a few more dollars for the Alpine SWS-10D4. Here's why: Pioneer: 350w xmax:12mm xmech: 34mm Alpine: 500w xmax: 17mm Update: These subs have a long break in period. They will continue to get louder for two months. I have them in a vented box 2.4 cf tuned to 37 hz. These things put out an incredible amount of bass for two tens. When they're turned up you can't light a lighter in the car... The pressure in the car prevents it from lighting. Lol. I actually bought these for an ib set up. Pioneer says they can be used in this application... They do work but not very well. You'll get better sound for far less power out of cheaper subs like pyle or pyramid. But vented, they are awesome! Just make sure you have at least 300w RMS (not 300 advertised watts) lol. Bottom line; certainly worth the money... Pioneer speakers usually are. ;) xmech: 64 mm These Alpines are capable of almost 3" excursion compared to these pioneers' 1.5.

Made an enclosure based off of the sealed enclosure recommendation of the manufacture. I was really surprised how low these tens went (20hz!! SWEET). These were a replacement for some Best Buy no-name 12's (insignia) I had and I was kinda disappointed. Both my 2-12's and my 2 pioneer 10's had the same amp running to them, but these 10's felt like I lost a bit of SPL. I know that they are tens but the bass didn't feel as full. These 10's sound okay, the bass is very tight, but the bass tone just feels and sounds false. The insignia has a more natural bass tone. I removed the magnet cover (they rattle if you don't) and was very unimpressed with the magnet. The magnet was extremely small probably due to the fact that the voice coil hole looks to be only 1 inch. Made me feel like I just bought these from Walmart :-( Beware these subs heat up fast. These 10's are running at rms power 350 watts (700 watts rmsx2) in the recommended sealed box. The gain is set to match my head unit (4 volts) and there is no clipping noticed or any type of distortion. After about 10 mins of hard bass notes I was getting worried about melting voice coils. If you want to try these out do not buy one or two. Get three and I'm sure these would sound better. But if your buying three, invest the money and get yourself some Infinity Kappas for a few more dollars. On another note, all my enclosure programs and formulas found online say these perform WAYYYY better in a sealed box (EBP rating is extremely low).

They blew out in less then 2 months!! Im not the type to blast music and i had the amp set at a reasonable level so there was no reason for them to have burned out. I've had all types of subs that have lasted years and these couldnt make it past a few weeks.. Very dissapointed.

As for the 10” Alphasonik 1200w subwoofer, it’s a solid, bass making piece. In my situation, I replaced the stock subwoofer in my 2013 Audi A4(as it had ripped to shreds). With a few modifications, the subwoofer fit nicely and discreetly in the factory location. Not only does this sub take the game in aesthetic appeal, it also finds a way to make quality , chest-felt bass throughout the entire cabin. With the trunk of my car basically being the “enclosure” for the subwoofer, I can only imagine what it’s capable of with a sealed box. Best of all, my subwoofer is being powered by the wattage-deprived factory amplifier. This amp pushes 180 at the most to the subwoofer. Frequency wise, it only finds itself capable of giving the subwoofer 50hz at the lowest. Overall, the Alphasonik NSW410 is a solid piece of equipment; and for under $100 at that. Recommended product.
