I kind of had my doubts about this light but couldn't find one that I really liked better and this popped up at a fantastic price (9.99). I love it, for the price it is really is well made, I like the three shades of light and the dimmer. For the Nay Sayers I think it puts out plenty of light, it's not going to totally illuminate a room. I like the USB power feature, I just plugged it in the back of my computer. If I wanted to wall power it I have plenty of adapters. The swing arm is actually a good size with plenty of motion. I mostly use this in the most dim warm light, positioned just a few inches above the key board for evening use. The light is so slim it doesn't get in the way and folds away for daytime use. This might be one of my most favorite things I bought on Amazon.

The lamp is aesthetically pleasing with its simple design and rectangular theme. However it does not make up for its high price and low quality. The light-bar is made from cheap metal and plastic. From within, you can clearly see all the effort that went into making these lights. It almost looks like the manufacturer got strip LEDs (which costs like $5 or less for a line), put it in a housing and sold it. Also the product is just not that bright, even at its highest setting. In my opinion, this product is probably worth half or less for what it is priced right now.• In conclusion, I recommend spending more for a quality desk lamp. Or just a different one for a similar price. This one is just not worth.

Bought this lamp for my husband's writing desk in the house. Its a good light. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it DOES NOT plug into a wall outlet, its powered by a USB CORD.

If you bought this lamp as a regular desk lamp, you got ripped off. The lamp comes without a plug. You have to plug it into a usb computer port. No computer? No problem, a cell phone charger adapter works just fine. The reason the lamp is no good is that if you were to put 4 of them together you would only get the brightness of a 40 watt bulb, which is dim. The good features of this lamp is the clamp is good, the swing arm is good( no base, it would fall over), the light strip is nice, and it has a dimmer (in 3 colors, white, yellow, and yellower) This lamp is a good nightlight. So, if you like to sit quiet at home at night and look at all the neat things on your desk in soft light, this lamp is for you. Ideal night lamp, no magic.

Received this in a box and as I was opening it, I heard a sliding sound that I thought was a loose screw inside. Upon assembling the light and putting it into operation, I saw the culprit. See attached photos of a loose washer or electrical connector. While it doesn't seem to be affecting the lamp, it isn't right for a product to have loose parts in an electrical fixture.

I use it to work from in out bedroom while my wife sleeps. It doesn't wake her and provides adequate lighting for reading and computer work while being very directional and not lighting the whole room which is what a desk lamp does. Not sure why so many expect this to be bright enough to light a room.

My wife was so delighted.. She loves it.

This lamp offers some nice features. The movable parts work very well. The light itself is pretty good but I do wish it was brighter.
