Excellent stainless steel ashtray.Great.Stainless , lid, and lightweight enough you could use it portable in a briefcase or attache case.An individual could easily use it for a cigar.Better if the manufacturer widened the underside cigarette holder to accommodate a cigarette or cigar.Can still be used comfortably by an individual for a cigar....Again great ashtrayGreat price.Italian design, stainless steel...Seriously, I'd expect to pay ($50) 5X what current listing price is.Very pleased, exactly what I wanted and better than I expected.It deserves it's accurate Italian design description.Bellisimo

Can't say about how long it will last, but so far has done very well. Hubby likes the compact size and takes it with him to use when we are out of the home and has been very pleased with it. (I would be more pleased if he would stop smoking but at 83 that is not going to happen. Sigh.) At least he is considerate and does not dump his ashes and cigarette butts wherever he goes.

UPDATE: Liked so much I bought one for boyfriend!*************************************************************Pros: look, lid (you don't have to extinguish the butt, just drop in and close the lid, no smoke comes out), weight (not flimsy at all; doesn't slide)Cons: Since the inner is as wide as the outer, you need to shake to get the butts out which can be messy. The cigarette holder should be a tad higher.

It’s a bit on the small side, but it works great. It’s better than having a regular ashtray out.
