This is easy to install, and the flush screw is a nice touch. If it has any defect, I'd say that the gasket seems a little hard, and I've had some blow-by leaks from a virtually brand-new gasket. I haven't ruled out replacing the group head gasket a second time with one bought separately that maybe seals better.

I haven't replaced the gasket yet, but I replaced the screen on my V1 Rancilio Silvia with this one, and the head of the screw sits practically flush with the screen. This means I can use my espresso puck screen to fully geek out on my espresso shots. Nice.

I felt a bit skeptical about spending so much for a gasket, screen, and a simple screw, but hey, it works! I have an old v1 machine and everything fit perfectly. My old rubber gasket was very stiff and started leaking around the portafilter recently, and I started using a puck screen recently and the original bolt/screw was super annoying, so I decided to splurge on this kit. I removed the old screen, cleaned the grouphead, pried out the old gasket, and then dropped all the new items into the Silvia. The gasket seals better than my previous gasket ever did (the portafilter aligns with the dots now). The shower screen spreads the water out the entire screen, unlike my previous one which would just gush out the middle. The flat screw fits mostly flush against the screen - as other reviews have mentioned it will jut out just a tiny bit which is not a big deal to me. All in all this kit gave new life to my old Silvia V1 and I'm glad I purchased it.

The flat srew is a big improvement from original that put impression in puck. The screen is OK, but does not fit as well as another (non E&B) version by IMS of an alternative for the OEM Rancilio. The Cafelat silicon gasket is well made but no matter how it is installed, shower screens get stuck in the group when portafilter is removed. Put a Rancilio OEM rubber version in group & screens remain in portafilter. Tried with 4 screens & 4 portafilters, and both used & new OEM gasket - the results were good with OEM & not Cafelat.

I just installed this kit today and had a difficult time getting the gasket to fit flush First time I thought it was in but the portafilter would not lock in. Finally I put a small amount of mineral oil on the gasket, and with some fiddling it went all the way in. Mineral oil is good grade so it won’t leave any off taste. So far so good.

Finally dug the crumbly, disintegrating OEM gasket out of my ancient (still running strong!) Silvia and replaced it with this. Gasket is a little stiff at first, but quickly breaks in while maintaining a nice 'springy' feel when you insert the portafilter. The sieve produces a more even, consistent flow for better extraction, and the screw doesn't leave a big indent in your puck if that matters to you.

Screw sits more flush with screen that stock screw. Screen is excellent quality—much easier to clean. Expensive, but no better option available at the moment.

Fits well on my rancilio silvia, the screw is a very good upgrade from the stock one and you can barely see the dent in the puck, amazing water distribution

Le point positif c'est qu'elle s'adapte à la Rancilio Silvia pro x, l'eau est légèrement mieux distribuée que le douchette originale, après l'impact sur le goût ou la qualité de l'extraction n'est pas perceptible par 99% des personnes, à part si vous êtes un dégustateur professionnel de café à l'aveugle 😅, le tarif est donc abusé au regard l'impact sur l'extraction.

Ich war ein wenig skeptisch, aber als ich das Sieb montiert habe und den „Regenfall“ beobachten konnte, dachte ich, wie wenig man benötigt, um solchen Espressogenuss zu erreichen. Das Teil passt perfekt an die Gruppe und die Dichtung hinterlässt einen hochqualitativen Eindruck. Ich werde es jedem Besitzer einer Rancilio-Maschine empfehlen, dieses Teil anzuschließen.

Perfetto per la mia Rancilio Silvia. Sono molto soddisfatto.

No es compatible con la Silvia Rancilio Pro X. Hay un comentario aquí que dice que es compatible y el propio vendedor me dijo por email que era compatible, pero no se ajusta de forma perfecta (es un poco más pequeña la cesta y no se ajusta completamente como la original). Si hicieran la cesta muy poco más grande entraría sin problemas pero quizás el que dice que es compatible la forzó o bien se le sale por los los lados, porque no se asienta bien. Espero que hagan el ajuste mejor porque merece la pena (es más pesada, más limpia y de mucha mejor calidad que la original). No he encontrado ninguna ducha que sea 100% compatible con la Rancilio Silvia Pro X. En todas los comentarios son contradictorios.
