Dimming Control - 0-10V Low Voltage Wall Mount Control

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:The switch does work. After further inspection, the wires have polarity to them which means they have to go a certain way. There is a positive wire (violet) and negative wire (pink). Things work wonders when you read the instructions apparently...note to seller, the wires should have little flag labels to help the user with confusion.OLD REVIEW:I bought this with expedited shipping, and it didn't work. My lights' have drivers in them producing their own 0-10V signal. I was hoping this switch would be able to modulate the signal, but it did nothing. When the circuit makes, it's supposed to control how many volts is being allowed through. If the driver sees 10V, no light, 6V some light, 0V full brightness. This switch doesn't do any of that. It also wasn't the switch depicted in the photo, so maybe they sent the wrong one?

Couldn’t find a smart dimming switch that included the dimming wires that connect with the controller on the led panels. Opted to just do with manual dimming along with a normal smart switch from TP-Link Kasa.The lighting is separated to two zones, each side have 5 lights connected to a switch and dimmer. Works as expected. Helps to lower the brightness of the basement when the lights are at max.

Works great. The price is fare when you compare to other 0-10V dimmers switches. I liked that this dimmer didn’t have a power switch just a dimmer. It worked great for my unusual DYI project.

It's kind of expensive for what you get but there aren't many options out there. At least it works with no issues.

Although this dimmer will mount on a wall as long as the wires run directly to the lighting unit [this dimmer is not made to connect to the electricity input to the light], I chose to make a molding around the light and alter the dimmer's plastic mold [cut off the ends and drilled new screw holes] to add it to the fixture. Works like a dream and adjusts to just the right amount of light. I can keep it soft for every day and brighten it for cleaning. Very happy with it. [Yeah, I haven't painted the ceiling yet. ...not embarrassed!]

I ordered this dimmer for the specific reason. The pictures showed a flat dimmer that can be surface mounted. It also shows threaded inserts in the switch so a machine screw can hold the cover on. This dimmer is not flat, this one will require at least a 1" hole behind the dimmer to allow for it to be mounted. Also there is no threaded inserts for the cover screws. There is holes that will require a rough thread screw to hold the cover in place. Also... I waited for almost a week longer than anticipated to received this peice of garbage.

Worked perfectly my basement has 2 sections. each section has led 2'x2' drop ceiling lights that are dimmable. These were great for the 0-10v dimmer switch
