Marshmallow Pie The Cat Superstar

Delightful, funny and beautifully told stories. The illustrations are lovely and there are lots of witty and fun details to share with young readers. Marshmallow is an original and engaging character whose escapades as a ‘star’ cat are very funny, and his relationship with his owner, a young girl called Amelia is both witty and touching. The stories are great adventures with jeopardy and excitement and perfect for the over fives. I bought both books for two five-year olds and can highly recommend - and as it’s a series it’s great for encouraging interest in building a book collection. Looking forward to the next one.

My 6-year-old girl who is an avid reader absolutely loves the author. She highly enjoyed her Dotty Detective series, so I got her Marshmallow Pie. She read all 3 books from this series, and read each book in one sitting. She said they were great. I'd definitely recommend it.

Bought for my 8 year old, we love cats, have loved reading the ToTo books by Dermot and Dotty detective and these were a big hit too. I've had to buy her all the others in the series.
