A great way to add some more bass to factory stereo. Its very loud and can easily drown out the factory speakers so adjust the gain properly. The set screws on the amp are a little flimsy, especially the remote on terminal. The remote on wire is usually 14-18 gauge and too small for the set screw to grab. You will have to attach a banana plug or something with more substance to the end of the remote wire or the set screw will go through the plate and eventually be useless.

Ran these MTX dual 12s in my 2006 Mustang powered by an Alpine S A60M and they hit hard for the price. Good low end punch without sounding muddy, and they handled power well as long as they were tuned correctly. I’ve since moved them over to my Silverado with a different amp and they’re still going strong. For a budget friendly setup they perform really well and hold up over time. Definitely a solid option if you want strong bass without spending a ton.

1st off let me say I have been doing my cars as a hobby for 15 years. The amp had a buzz out of the box ( not a ground loop) and the subs sounded awful. Tried to return the item but I had to do it at a cost to me, then shortly after the return eligibility they seized up completely. I wore them in properly, and when they seized I was not even playing loud. Now I have been told to contact the seller but have no idea how. Can't find a way to contact them on the Amazon app.
