Pellon Deco-Fuse Firm Interfacing White, Fabric by the Yard

This is the ideal interfacing for wallets and bags. I was using Peltex, which is fine too, but it gives a crinkly look when folding, and can be difficult to sew through if more than one layer is used. With the Deco-Fuse, the product rolls tightly without cracking, and is very thin. It is not as stiff as Peltex, but I double the layers, and it works perfectly.My ideal system for wallet interfacing is SF101 next to the fabric, then Deco-Fuse. Then after turning, I add one layer of headlining material, or Bosal inRForm foam product. This produces the ideal balance of stiffness and give, while keeping fabric smooth. It is still easy to sew through, even though I end up with 2 layers of fabric, 2 layers of SF101, 2 layers of Deco-Fuse, and one layer of foam. If you need extra rigidity, replace the foam layer with Peltex. The DecoFuse and SF101 will smooth out the crinkles. I am using this now in most of my bags and accessories.

This listing is by the yard. The picture is misleading. I was very surprised to only receive one yard of interfacing.

I had more problems getting a bolt of 10 yards and they kept sending only 1 yard. This went on 3 times till I finally talk to a supervisor

My own fault for not reading the description more closely but this product is available at a much lower cost at any fabric store. Quality was what I expect from Pellon, but a word of warning read the descriptions closely. Even though a bolt is pictured you are paying for one yard.
