Q: Are these from the fruiting bodies?

The response by T. Pham on September 5, 2021 is incorrect. "cordycep is derived from an insect -there is no fruity body." Though cordyceps are found in the wild growing out of insects the fruiting body is the part of the mushroom that emerges from the insect whereas the mycelium is the vegetative part of the mushroom and found inside the body. The mycelium supports the growth of the fruiting body for purposes of reproduction. Currently cordyceps are more commonly farmed on organic substrates such as grains (rice, millet, rye, etc).

Q: Does the packaging on cordyceps being shipped in june 2018 show contains 30% cordycepic acid and 35% polysaccharide or something else?

For my may order I received cordyceps showing 7% Cordycepic acid and 0.2% adenosine, contrary to the description on Amazon. After contacting micro ingredients, they sent me a package containing 30% cordycepic acid and 35% polysaccharide.

Q: Is there 3rd party testing done for this product?

The label says its statements haven't been reviewed by the FDA. It also states the product is "certified organic" by "organic certifiers." There is no other information showing 3rd party testing. Try their customer service, but prepared for a delay.
