Black Therapy 9 Bamboo Charcoal Soap featuring Activated Bamboo Carbon - 3 Bar Pack

I have a really annoying skin type. Not only is it oily (and dehydrated at the same time) it's also sensitive and clog-prone. I have to choose wisely when selecting my skincare because if a product clogs up my skin.....it's breakout city and all hell breaks loose. The soap was smaller than I expected but that is seriously the only con about this product. Smells very fresh and reminds me a bamboo forest. The soap lathers up really well and after I use this, my face feels so soft, clean, and.....just perfect in general. Exactly what I wished my skin was like before I effed it up even more with hundreds of products in search of perfect skin. I was also starting to have some trouble with Seborrheic Dermatitis, but because bamboo charcoal soap is anti-fungal as well as anti-bacterial, it prevents the SD from flaring up. LOVELOVELOVE THIS SOAP! I will continue to buy this forever.

Seems being a black soap, as it has charcoal in it, it clogs my pores making blackheads. It may help some in fighting bacteria but it fills pores, so not worth it for me (the acne prone white faced woman). I really wish this wasn't the case, since it does seems to leave skin feeling great and the other ingredients have wonderful anti aging effects, so I am bummed. It's even pretty to look at with it's gold flecks looking very cool in a very black bar.

I recently purchased this soap after reading about the many benefits of activated charcoal. I've only been using it for a few days, but, so far, I love this soap! I have always had extremely dry skin. After washing my face, especially in winter, I would have to immediately use oil or a heavy moisturizer, which helped some, but still never seemed to soak in. Using this soap, it feels like I'm washing with creme, and leaves my skin feeling very soft and not dry! And I am able to notice a significant difference in the appearance of my skin also only after a few days.

This is good soap- I've been going with sumi instead though because it doesn't leave any black residue like this does. I found myself having to clean after this soap much more and it became a bit of a hassle. On the soap side, it's great

This soap lathers very well, but does not last long. It cleans the skin well without drying. It is double packaged nicely. For about an hour after you use it, you will smell of the cypress needle oil, but it is not a bad or loud smell. If you have the money go for it, otherwise, you can try cheaper soaps like Dr. Bronners peppermint, Earthceuticals charcoal or just plain Ivory that seem to work just as well.

If used regularly...it works very well.My son's acne has cleared up quite a bit. However when he stops using it, the acne immediately comes back. That i'm sure is due to his diet....ENTIRELY different story :)

This is an awesome soap. First of all it's cool looking, being all black. But it's also an amazing cleanser too. The bamboo carbon creates tons of thick lather and bubbles. The other ingredients seem to work great together as well. This soap leaves your skin feeling tight and very clean. It's great on acne too. I highly recommend as a soap to use when you want a deep, thorough cleanse.

The soap ingredients provided on the site are different that what's on the actual product! I ordered the soap and when I looked at the product label I saw that the soap contains PEG-400, sodium laureth sulfate, propylene glycol amongst other dangerous ingredients!Do your own homework but if you're looking for a non toxic all natural soap, this is not it. What a waste....
