The best kids cook book ever (even for adults)
I bought this book for a 3 year old son, who loves to cook.We needed some new ideas that weren't just cakes! This book is amazing, the recipes are easy to follow and the use of ingredients is genius. Whod of thought making chocolate brownies with sweet potato but it works and tastes amazing. The illustrations are also beautiful and so true to modern day lives.Weve had the book just over a week and have already made 5 different recipes from it.Cant recommend enough

Highly recommend
This book is wonderful. My two sons absolutely love the cook book and open it up to see what they can cook next. My five year old can easily follow the pictures and is starting to read the words too.The illustrations are beautiful and easy to follow.I love how many of the recipe have a slight twist to them and promote healthy eating to children. The snakey breadsticks and energy stars (pictured, my eldest loves love hearts) have been a particular hit. We don't eat much meat in our house so it's great to also see recipes including tofu and veggie options. My youngest has a dairy allergy and all the recipes so far have easily changed the dairy component to non dairy.Highly recommend. ❤️

Great book for kids and adults alike!
This is the perfect first cook book! The recipes are simple and easy to follow for kids, yet still fun and interesting for any age! I really like the interesting twists David puts on classic dishes that make them exciting and cute. I also love how many veggie options the book includes. The beautiful illustrations really help bring the recipes to life. I love that the characters are diverse and that we follow them through the book! Although this is aimed at kids, I bought it for myself (an adult) and I have already planned a few dishes to try soon! This would make the perfect gift for young people keen on cooking and baking!

Bake Off 2019 Winner David's First Cookbook
David Atherton has put together a lovely cookbook for children which our toddler loves! Like his bakes on GBBO, these recipes are fun and imaginative (Octo Pizzas, Piggy Buns) and have quirky healthy ingredients (Avocado, Sweet potato). This is like a classic kids cookbook but updated for the 21st century (veggie sushi, tacos, hummus). The recipes are perfectly pitched for kids - what they can manage to make and what they'd like to eat. Totally recommend!

Simple healthy and tasty recipes for kids and adults alike.
Love this cookbook and its funky format everything is well laid out and easy to follow and a joy to make.In essence its what every kids cookbook should be.Plus the food is healthy but not preachy your not being guilt tripped if your toddler has a taste for quavers!Instead you are given some family orientated alternatives that most kids will enjoy without having to source a massive list of ingredients or berate yourself if they don't get their five a day because these recipes are inclusive in the best sense clever twists on familar classics that your children already know and love.My kids still haven't worked out that their favourite chocolate brownie has sweet potatoe in it! Long may this continue i say!Great stuff.
