The AQA GCSE Biology Student Book (AQA GCSE Science 3rd Edition) is a great choice for anyone studying GCSE Biology. It’s very well-structured and aligns perfectly with the AQA specification, covering every topic thoroughly. The explanations are clear and easy to follow, and the book is filled with colorful diagrams and illustrations that make complex concepts—like cell biology, genetics, and ecology—much more accessible. The end-of-section questions are helpful for checking my understanding, and there are even some online resources that come with the book, such as videos and quizzes, which make revision more engaging. The content is presented in a way that keeps me interested, and I feel more confident tackling each topic. Overall, it’s a nice, supportive book that has been really helpful in my GCSE biology revision!

These books are great for school use, with the AQA curriculum covered in one book. Each double page covers a single lesson and there are summary questions on each page. You really do need some teacher input, so it's not really useful for self study as the answers are not included, so you don't know whether you've got off-track. There is a teacher book available to buy alongside this book which does have answers available, but this is expensive (maybe buy one per department). The books are ideal for setting cover work, because students can work through the mate. So overall a great tool for use in schools, but of little value for self-study (try downloading past papers from the AQA website if you want to do extra study at home).

The book has everything you need for AQA GCSE Biology. It’s so useful and can easily be used by any student. I love this book so much as it really helped us understand more about the topic! 5 stars all round!
