This is a cheap piece of garbage; don't buy it!
Cheap, poorly made. The dials are loose and if you barely, barely touch it the dials drop down. It is impossible to keep a true reading of the temperature highs and lows.

Love it! A low tech solution to a standalone freezer that I want to monitor high/low temps.
This thermometer works great. I used my existing fridge/freezer digital thermometer to compare the temps and it's dead on. There are a couple of things to be careful of. Don't force the arms too much when moving the high/low arms into position, as you could move the main arm with them and break the thermometer. Also, because Celsius is on the top the curve and Fahrenheit is on the under side of the curve, it's a little hard to see the Fahrenheit numbers when all three arms are in the same area. I wonder if some of the people, who said the temp was wildly off, were actually looking at the Celsius measurement and not the Fahrenheit? Final thing to be careful of... when you reset, put the dial pusher tab back at the bottom, so it doesn't block the movement of the arms thru the temperature curve. I am very happy.

Not worth it
Other reviews noted poor quality and they’re correct. I had high hopes that I’d get a good one but didn’t. The dial indicators don’t have enough friction to hold their positions so it’s impossible to move the unit without the settings shifting around…it’s just worthless. Sad part is that it would work fine with just a bit more quality control.

This is a totally useless device at a ludicrous price
This is a decent design concept, but it is completely screwed up in this implementation. The min and max pointers are intended to tuck under the main pointer when resetting. But in fact they do not fit that way at all. They bump into the main pointer The closest I can get the min and max to reset position is 1 and 2 degrees C respectively. So right off, the total error is 3 degrees C. Furthermore, the F scale is tiny and is mainly hidden behind the three pointers. This is a totally useless device at a ludicrous price. Skip it.

Works well but pretty cheesy for the money
Works well but a bit expensive for China made and a bit flimsy $10 plus shipping would be more reasonable

Completely Useless and a waste of money
The max min indicators are so loose that they fall down to the bottom of the display settings under their own weight if you as much as move the meter. The Dial size is great and easily visible but as a Max Min device it is useless if gravity alone can move the max min indicators to their end stop positions.

great value
Works well easy to read and use.

The tattle tails move too easily. Just sitting down can move them. There is no way to tighten them
