Ostomy Shower Cover Size: S, M, L, XL

I have had the shower cover for 2 months now. I use every day. I didn't think it would work being that its just a sheet of plastic. I though, 'the barrier is still exposed, surely it will get wet', but it doesn't. First off, if you have an ostomy and don't have a handheld shower head that should be your first purchase before this. I got a fairly inexpensive one here on Amazon for 12 bucks and its great. This is important because the water goes where you want it to. If you were to get into the shower with a normal head, I would imagine that this shower cover wouldn't work how you might hope. However coupling this with a hand held sprayer, it works great. I hold down the edge of the plastic when I spray close to it and that is enough to keep the water from getting in there. As long as you aren't intentionally spraying water under the cover your barrier won't get wet. The only times my barrier gets wet is when i take off the cover before I'm completely dry and a few drops run down and get on the barrier. Completely manageable and really nothing to worry about. This shower cover works far beyond my expectations and I'm so glad I have it. Make sure its tight around your abdomen. By double wrapping the elastic band like the directions say you really prevent any water from running down your body and getting under the shower guard. I wear a size large. I'm a 6' tall male, weight 162 lbs and am a loose size 34 pant and the large shower guard is perfect. Were i much bigger around the abdomen I would probably want to size up. If you have an ostomy and showers worry you, this is the answer. Its a great product that works way better than you would think it does. It keeps your pouch and barrier dry and makes for an easy shower.

It’s just an oversized bag with a hole that’s to small in the back. This is horrible, bad design, pretty much worthless.

OMG this is an excellent product. My sister-in-law loved it. She now could shower without hesitation! Her ostomy bag was secured, never got wet. The inventor of this product is a genius. The quality of life is almost as normal as you can get. Before, if was a hassle trying to bathe her and it was very uncomfortable for her because someone had to help her take a bath. Now she goes alone and showers like everyone else. She's 63 and her life got better with this product. Thanks for the invention !!! God Bless.

I’ve been using the Ostomy Shower Guard by EMPOWER YOUR CHANGE for a few weeks now, and I’m extremely impressed with its performance. It has made showering a worry-free experience, keeping my ostomy dry and secure throughout. The materials are durable, comfortable, and well-designed for everyday use.My only minor complaint is with the belt size. Despite following their sizing recommendations closely, the belt is to large, and I wish it had a bit more adjustability. That said, it’s still functional and with some Jerry rigging it’s secure enough just not as snug as I would prefer.Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use ostomy shower guard. It’s a real game-changer!

Seems to keep the site fairly dry. The belt is replaceable - fits into a sleeve at the top of the bag - and made of elastic material - so don't worry about getting the exactly correct size. Nothing keeps the bag tight at the bottom or sides though. Theoretically, the shower water will come from above, so no worries. Is it worth the money? Well, I enjoyed my shower more and didn't worry about getting the adhesive on the flange wet - so yes - but there simply isn't $32 worth of material on it.

This has changed my feelings about showering! I shower frequently (live in the Florida heat) and don't like getting my pouch wet. This works great for me! It took me 5-6 showers to get it positioned just right, but now I rarely get a drop of water on my appliance. I recently ordered a second one to keep in our RV. This is a blessing for me!
