easy to follow recipes
I bought this book after trying out one of the recipes from it which was included in a Sunday newspaper pullout (penne and sausage bake if you're interested). The book is well organised with clear, easy to follow recipes. The different sections are as followed:-Introduction-Breakfast and Brunch-Lunch on the Run-Family Suppers-Save Time, Save Money (important to note that some of these recipes save time, while others are cheaper to make but take longer to cook)-Slow Down (recipes that you can cook when you have more time - sometimes it's the prep that takes a while e.g. marinating)-Puddings and Bakes-Basics (this includes things like pesto and tomato sauce that you can use in some of the recipes included in this book)-Nutritional Information (the exact nutritional breakdown for each recipe is listed here)-My 5-Week Plan-Index-ThanksThe recipes all use a minimum of ingredients - they've aimed for 10 or less, but be warned the salt, pepper oil & vegetable oil are NOT listed in the ingredients so you'll want to double check the recipe to see how much you need before you start cooking, All ingredients should be available in supermarkets. Each recipe is accompanied by a lovely colour picture of the dish, so you can see what you're aiming for presentation wise. The calories are also shown at the top but for more detailed nutritional information (fat, carbs, protein etc) you'll have to flip to the Nutritional Information section at the back of the book.Overall this is a great cookbook with a great variation of filling, healthy recipes that all the family will enjoy.

Great cook book
It’s been a long time I haven’t found a good book that I would use a lot. I am using Davinas book religiously. The recipes are delicious and very easy to make. I am so bored of the hyped books from Melisa H, Ottolenghi, etc. (all their recipes are so high on fat and calories in these and so complex with tons of extra ingredients that you usually don’t have in your kitchen.) Davinas book on the other hand usual normal kitchen staples, are cooking with calories in mind and are delicious. Thank you Davina, keep them coming!

This book doesn’t deliver as written in the title
The recipes are full of added sugar, albeit not processed but maple syrup, honey and high sugar fruits. Couldnt use hardly any of the recipes. Shame on you davina

Another Davina hit
I love Davina’s cookery books and bought this to complete the set of four as it was on offer. Her recipes are very straightforward and they work. So far there hasn’t been anything we don’t like.

Some great recipes
I bought this book for the meal plans to help get me eating sugar free. I was disappointed in the meal plans - they seemed like an afterthought, but the recipes are great and the book is worth the few pounds I paid for it for that alone.
