Por lo que dice la información tiene un sistema para cambiar la cerradura. Parece robusto y fuerte. La cerradura es de serreta actualizada para impedir que la abran con procedimientos clásicos.

I picked up the Kwikset 026SMTLNG smart key padlock with the long shackle and have been really happy with it. The build feels solid and heavy duty, and the long shackle gives just a bit more flexibility when locking up gates, sheds, or storage units. One of the best features is the SmartKey system. I was able to rekey it to match one of my existing keys in just a couple of minutes without any special tools. That saved me from carrying around yet another key. It locks up securely and hasn’t shown any signs of sticking or jamming. For a reliable, easy‑to‑use padlock, this is a great option. 5/5.

Muy buen candado, se siente pesado y robusto, lo que hace que se sienta seguro, viene con dos llaves y herramienta para hacer el "re-key", lo conseguí a buen precio, fue una excelente compra.

I've used Master, Best, American, and most of the big box store brand padlocks, and these are by far the best. They are very smooth and stand up to the environment quite well. The fact that I can key them the same and change keys when needed makes them just that much better. the smartkey core are much more difficult to pick than a standard core so there is added security over the standard cores. The price cannot be beat. I am assuming Kwikset hit the market with these and wanted to wedge themselves in the mix with a very competitive price point. similar locks from the 'better' brands are far more expensive. My only complaint is the lack of models available. When i purchased these, there were only two available, the long and short shackle. would love to see Kwikset expand their product offering to other sizes.

If you use a Kwikset lock in your home, this is a great padlock for your shed. I hate carrying around a lot of keys. I wanted a padlock for my shed that was keyed alike to my house key. The smartkey system is perfect for this. It's very easy to rekey the padlock to my existing house key, and now I'm not carrying around an extra key just for the shed. I am also a hobbiest lockpicker, and I really like the kwikset smartkey system for it's pick resistance. It's not pickproof in the lockpicking community (by any means) but it is a higher difficulty lock and it's a much different type of picking technique than your standard pin-tumbler lock... so anyone with amature picking skills is not going to get this one open. That said, almost no criminals pick locks, because it's much easier/quicker to physically destroy them (wireless angle grinder) than to pick them. In this area it's a pretty standard physical security padlock. It's beefy and strong, but it's not going to stop an angle grinder attack.
