I'm officially on the Drunk Elephant bandwagon, which is saying something, since I'm not part of the beauty blogging/brand influencer community who gets these items gratis. Nope, I'm spending my hard earned cash on these products -- and I have to say, I'm very happy with the results.For most of my life, I used whatever soap was in the shower to wash my face. I only recently purchased a facial cleanser (also reviewed). But now I'm on a mission to use healthier products on my face -- reading ingredients and learning more about what to avoid.Like all of Drunk Elephant's packaging -- the Jelly Cleanser comes in a sturdy box while being easy to open. The tube and safety seals are easy to open, too.The instructions suggest placing a dab in the palm of your hand and placing it under water, then rubbing your hands together to create a foam. The thing I'm noticing about these pricier products is that a dab truly is all that's needed. It spreads smoothly and covers quickly and rinses easily. I also like the scent. My skin feels fresh and clean and soft -- but not super dried out.I've knocked off stars on some of the other Drunk Elephant products because of the pump design. But this tube looks good and l have no doubt I'll be able to wring every drop from it. The price tag is HEFTY (especially to someone like me who has used body wash or bar soap on her face), but the fact that it does the job with just a dab keeps it five stars.

I really love this product because of how gentle it is. I use it to take my makeup off, and my eyes are extremely easily irritated by the rubbing that usually comes with other products, wipes, etc. Even most conventional cleansers I have to scrub fairly hard to get everything off, and often more than once. This product I only need about a dime sized dollop. Maybe nickel sized if you really have a ton of makeup on but certainly less if it's just for general cleaning. And I wear waterproof, sweatproof, stubborn eyeliners. I always thought the price I'd pay for great eyeliner was sore eyes after the wash, but no more!Goes on clean, takes everything off. Doesn't irritate the skin even if you're scrubbing pretty thoroughly to get everything off the eyes and eyelashes. And with very little exception in the creases between lashes on the lash-line, HONESTLY, this stuff removes EVERYTHING in a single wash. So the price you pay is good because the container should last a good while. And frankly, it's cheaper than a lot of similar stuff.Highly recommend for anyone who has sensitive skin, especially sensitive eyes, and who needs a cleanser to do makeup removal and cleaning in one.
