Unsafe and destructible
Its not really indestructible from the second week the thread that is holding the pages together got cut off. Also, when wiped the colors come off on the wipes which puzzled me and now I think its unsafe to be put in my baby's mouth.

False Advertising
This is advertised as a 12 page book. That is why I bought it. However the entire book is comprised of a total of 5 pictures with a few words-mostly sounds printed on the page.

I judged the book, and was proven wrong.
I was extremely skeptical of these "indestructible" books. Even moreso when I received it. I was poorly packaged and the texture was almost that of a crumpled up piece of paper. I tried tearing the pages myself to no avail so I handed to my teething 7 month old to test out. She really put that book through the ringer and miraculously the book is still intact. If I didn't know better I'd say this was an extremely cheap children's book. But now I love it and plan to buy more of these books. The artwork is nice and colorful enough. My baby girl enjoys playing with it whether we're reading it to her or not. A friend of mine says you can even put the book through the dishwasher when you want to wash them off.

An even trade
Now that I put a bookshelf in my son's room to hold all of his books, he's begun yanking them all off of the shelves and playing with them. He's about 8 months old, so he's far from gentle. So far, he's only managed to rip a couple of the dust covers from the hardcover books, but he gravitates toward the books with paper pages, rather than the cardboard ones he can't really hurt. I bought him a handful of these "Indestructible" books for Christmas, so when he started getting into his books, I could "trade" him and give him one of these instead a book he can really destroy. It's working out pretty well. The pages of these make similar sounds as pages in regular books, so he can still leaf through them, but I don't have to worry about him mangling them. He grabs them, pulls on them, chews on them, crawls over them, etc, and so far we haven't had any rip. To be fair, he still prefers other books, but I guess that's to be expected. They always want to play with the stuff they shouldn't, right? My only complaint is that these don't really have stories, so there's not much I can read to him. I can point to the pictures/words and tell him what they are, though he isn't really interested in that yet. Really, he just wants to mangle them. :)

Great Art, perfect for rough tough boys
My one year old boy just keeps ripping his book pages and I bought these with the hopes of getting him past that phase! So now he can look at the images without the distraction of a torn page as he turns it too hard. I wasn’t expecting much from these books for story line but I find the art work adorable! In the Things That Go book they have women driving bulldozers which makes me happy that it shows both genders for all sorts of drivers. My favorite book is the Baby Animals book. It gives the proper name of each baby animal. Did you know a rabbits baby is also called a kitten? I didn’t. So I find these educational and cute along with unrippable!

My baby loves these books
The colors are bright enough to capture my baby's attention. I make up stories as I "read" the book. Sometimes I only name the animals other times I name objects in the book. I can put it the diaper bag and it doesn't take much space. Also babies don't need 10+ books. We invested in only 2 and plan to entertain her with them for a while. Babies need repetition and something that engages them. I just love these books!
