This comforter is VERY warm. If you live in a warm climate, I would not recommend this. I live in Texas, but keep my AC on 66 at night. I used to sleep with a sheet, a blanket, and a comforter, but with this new comforter, I had to get rid of the blanket, and even then, I still get hot. I like to be warm and don't mind it as much as others, but even then I have to kick off the comforter in the middle of the night sometimes. I think that if your house was really cold at night, or if you really like to be hot when you sleep like I do, this comforter is excellent. Otherwise, get a cooler one!

Please let me save you some research time. If you're anything like me, I do A TON of research before I purchase something that needs to last me a good long time and that I need to be the best quality that I can afford. Even though this comforter was too warm for me to keep here in Tennessee, I HIGHLY recommend this product. The quality was so top notch, I was almost shocked when I took it out of the box. I was very upset that it was too warm for me to use more than one season, or believe me I would have kept it. Also, I researched the price point as well, and I found several reputable (and well-known) department store websites that were selling this comforter for MUCH MUCH more. Great job Amazon!

This is VERY warm. When it's not cold enough to use this as a cover, I like to lay it on the bed and sleep on top of it; feels like you're on a cloud. Wonderful for the winter!Get a duvet cover so it doesn't get dirty and you don't have to wash it too often. I also don't get allergies from this.

I am a believer in wool blankets. This comforter is much better than any of my more expensive wool blankets. The Aussies have done this right. Weight, cover is a ten out of ten. Love it.

Toasty.Warmer than my down comforter, and the fill doesn't compact and shift and bunch like goose down does.My spouse likes the bed much warmer than I, so if I do overheat, I never sweat, so there must be good breathability.The fabric is a little crinkly and not quiet, so we are getting a cover to fix that.

very thick blanket ! Good for winter.
