No more tension issues
I had a Brother machine that I had to adjust the tension for all the time and the stitches still weren't right. Loops on the top or loops on the bottom. There was no happy medium. I'm very, very happy with this Singer machine, because I can sew different weights and thicknesses, and I've never had to mess around with the tension. There are a whole lot more stitches than I'll probably ever use, but maybe some day I'll be able to play around with more than the straight and zig-zag stitches.

Love this machine
This is the second one for me. Guess I wore the first one out. I use this for quilting, the arm is bigger then most. I can see larger items with this machine.

Jams a lot
Did not work out of the box hand wheel was stuck and machine would not sew

Did Not Work right out of the box.
This machine did not work right out of the box and it felt cheaply made. I would not recommend this machine. I had to return it and I don't drive so I had to take a cab ($15) to the UPS store.
