Courier service was amazing they left a collection cards on my mailbox
Excellent book, but it didn’t serve what I was really looking for. But some other reader may find it useful according to their desire and purpose

Some good stories; not particularly substantial though
I liked this book because of its three main stories: the development of London's Canary Wharf, how post-60s architectural critics have followed Friedrich Engels in learning to analyse new types of city, and some reports on recent developments in Silicon Valley. Each of these is well-written and informative - like a good-sized magazine article. There are some shorter commentaries, interspersed among these, on recent changes around London's Vauxhall Bridge/Battersea area (interesting as I used to live around there about 30 years ago) and about Rem Koolhaas' long-planned study of Lagos. I also liked the final section on how airport design focuses on moving huge volumes of people around and how cities are having to learn those lessons, too.It is a fairly slight book. But it was cheap on Kindle and great value for money for the 5 or 6 hours it took me to read.
