PMJ590 - Packard Aftermarket Replacement Motor Start Capacitor 590-708 MFD 110 125 Volt

This fixed my air compressor. The symptom was the motor hummed but wouldn't start. I simply matched the farads and volts to the old part. The only issue was the size was a bit too large, and it wouldn't fit in the old housing. I used a piece of PVC pipe and end caps to make up a housing, and used some romex and crimp connectors to extend and connect the wires. It works good as new.

I’m sure it’s a product, but it didn’t fix the issue. Must be a bad electric motor.

My air compressor is back up and running. Good value.
