Tombow62107 Mono Adhesive Refill Permanent, 1/3-Inch-by-472-Inch

I have been using this product for many years and have never had anything but a great experience with it.One of the reviews I read said to buy Staples brand - DON'T do it. After reading that I felt I needed to write a review.I am pretty sure I have tried every brand on the market and Staples brand was worthless - they ended up in the trash. The adhesive jammed up constantly and the adhesive was not as strong. Don't waste your money trying to save a few cents, in the end you will waste tape, ruin projects and frustration levels will soar.

I've used this stuff for years & have been happy with it. The price was always annoying though. I used to buy locally because they usually had coupons that would discount to a slightly better price. That is no longer an option. Now this stuff is 13 feet less for more money. So I had no choice but to search for a better price, which I did find penwa. I had to buy a 50 of 'em, but for less than half the price. So I may be good for life maybe, unless I give too much away. This is the best adhesive I've found for use on Tyvek.

I've gotten 99 cent adhesive rollers in the value bin at my local craft stores that functioned better than this item. I only purchased it because I had accidentally bought a refill pack that I thought was a multipack on clearance. I figured, since I had the refills, I might as well get the main unit.The only reason I can see why the main unit is a separate purchase is to push up the profit per unit and create the illusion of a premium product. You seriously replace over half of the unit with each refill. So unless you are super wary of the environmental impact of a few ounces of wasted plastic, there isn't any value to having the refills be separate.Using it, the adhesive kept jamming up. It would get caught inside of the unit and I would have to pick out a gob of adhesive because it wasn't sticking to the foamees I was attempting to stick it to. It could be argued that the material they make the foamees from isn't meant to be used with this product, but those value rollers I mentioned worked great in the past. So, I don't know that it can be used as a valid excuse. I did find that if I used it at a painfully slow pace, I got the adhesive to stick more consistently. But, this product is mainly one of convenience. If I wanted to go slow, I would have just used double sided Scotch tape.Bottom line, I can't see myself purposefully buying this brand ever again. My refills are used up, and I'm moving on.

Typically, I use a liquid glue when making cards. However, liquid glue can be a little messy while traveling; not to mention liquid restrictions when flying. TOMBOW Adhesive to the rescue!! Extremely easy to use; no clogging of the tension tape; adheres cleanly and evenly; the tape is easy to replace and most importantly, my finished cards and other projects always turn out beautiful. What I cannot comment on is the longevity of the adhesive on finished projects. "Some" adhesives degrade over time - i.e. card front panels will literally drop off of the card base - this can be caused from high heat, humidity, or other variant temperatures and weather conditions. Overall, the TOMBOW Adhesive is my "go to" choice for all things paper crafting. Thank You!!

Tombow is a great product anytime. I've tried numerous brands but this is the winner

This is my go-to adhesive runner. It starts easily and applies smoothly. Sticks well - perfect for crafting projects!

I love Tombow Mono permanent adhesive! It's easy to use, just drag and stick. I do not worry about my crafts coming apart with this adhesive. It does not discolor either.

I LOVE tombow glue. I use the liquid mono glue so I knew this would be great. The tape runner is easy to use, fits well in the hand, and glides so smoothly. I wish there were a larger version because this is my new favorite and I will definitely be buying refills. Another great product by tombow!

Good product, quite pricey though.

I used this to make doing my sketchbooks for college easier and it basically cut my time in half! Much easier to used than double sided tape and doesn't need to be left to dry like glue!
