how much would I need to do a Ford Custom swb, high roof van?

18 sqm is enough for a custom, i done lwb transit with 2 x but also covered sides.

Is it safe to use on the engine bay hood to reduce engine noise? Thanks.

It is not Hi temperature. so the engine bay would be too hot, inside the car on the fire wall. would be OK.

My car engine is like a hair dryer will this help?

I'd say so yes. It deadens the engine sounds. I've used mine for a van conversion & v.happy with the results.

Easy to install

Easy to install, EXTREMELY strong adhesion so once stuck you're not getting it off, only need 50% of the area covered with this for it to work and dampen sound.

These are gleaming

One pack is enough to do 100% coverage on both a Caddy’s front doors - I bought two packs so will be doing sliding rear doors too! Initially thought these were quite thin and cheap… until I put them on and the difference is pretty mental. I also done a 2nd layer with some sticky back foam - overall much more bearable to drive in comparison to the metal tin can of a caddy van it was! 10/10
