It WORKS.
This is my SEVENTH week with back pain. I have no idea how I hurt my back - I think that I strained it and it just got worse the more I tried to push through the discomfort. I tried deep tissue and trigger point massages; went through five bottles of BioFreeze Professional; prescription Lidocaine patches and pain meds; a cheap ($40) TENS unit; nerve block injections. I also bought an eight-hour ice pack to pit on, a new desk chair, and a lumbar support cushion. The pain just kept coming back. Out of desperation, I searched Amazon for back pain relief and this popped up. I ordered it early last night (after looking to see if I could but it locally - nope). When I got home from work, it was waiting for me.The most difficult part for me was getting the box open. I thought that it was just a sleeve that covered the box, nope. So I ripped it to shreds and opened it up. Other than the "sleeve", beautiful packaging. I had already downloaded the app, and the battery setup and pairing instructions were pretty straightforward. I've been using it on it's highest level for the past three hours (with 15 minute breaks between as recommended), and it feels amazing. I was really skeptical that two AAA batteries could pack a punch but - yup. I bought pads and they will arrive tomorrow, but I am SO happy that this gem arrived with three sets of pads. I haven't taken the pads off but they are really adhering and I've been sitting, moving around making dinner, walking the dog, etc., and they haven't slipped or budged. Now I know that the $40 TENS unit I first bought is crap - it wouldn't hold a charge and it hurt as if I were being stabbed with a sharp fork. It hurt more than it helped. THIS unit has exceeded my expectations. I'll update in a few weeks. I am especially interested to see how it performs tomorrow at work (I walk several blocks between a parking garage and building, in 90* weather). So far, I do NOT regret this purchase.

Worked beautifully
My wife was having serious lower back pain and a coworker recommended this unit to me. The gel pads are very easy to affix and store and pairing the item to the phone was very easy. I was worried it wouldn’t stick but again the unit was a pleasant surprise and didn’t slip once, even when she wore it at work.I didn’t anticipate the different settings which in turn could be adjusted to varying levels of intensity. She said she felt almost immediate relief and over the next two days the unit was her best friend. It never felt hot or, again, never slipped. The replacement gels may seem costly but the reality is this unit is worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Works great except for the battery life!
I've had lower back pain for years and wasn't sure something like this could help, but it definitely does.I don't mind having to buy the adhesive pads and find that I can use one off and on for about a month before I have to replace it.I've noticed that when I turn it on, the app doesn't always recognize it's connected on the first try so I have to close the app and open it up again. My biggest issue with this great little device is battery life. I can put new batteries in, use it a few times and then after it's been sitting for a few weeks, I turn it on and the batteries are dead. I noticed another user having this same issue. Batteries aren't cheap and a definite upgrade to this would be to have one with rechargeable batteries. Nothing is more frustrating than having back pain and finding out the batteries are dead and you have to track down the mini screwdriver to open the door to replace them!Otherwise, a great little unit if only they would address this issues with battery life, especially when the unit isn't even being used!

I made a tie or belt to hold the unit on and I love it.
I made a tie (belt) for this unit, so I am confident it stays on. The unit is great, powerful easy to use. With this tie I can wear it all day. Relief is wonderfulInstructions Tins Holder(size to fit yourself)Mine was 54 long by ½ wideMeasure around your back and waist with machine on. For band tie I added the entire measurement of the front of my body (from Hip to Hip).Cut 3-inch wide fabric 54 inches long or piece of fabric to reach around your back and double the front of your body. If you must piece two pieces together use the quilting method pictured or just sew the end together. Sew press seam open. See Picture 1Cut stabilizer to match the measurement of the tie. I used Fusible Middleweight or featherweight both works. Iron stabilizer on wrong size of fabric. Picture 2On the short end fold under ¼ inch and fold under again and sew. Fold in half right side together lengthwise and sew. Turn I used a safety pin to turn. Press seam to side top stitch. 2a and 2bAdd Velcro (I used 5 lbs. – sticky Back) and then sewed along the edge. The width of the tie should not completely cover the buttons on Tens or edge of case.Fold belt in half then match to Velcro on Machine.**(tip put a piece of plastic over and between the Velcro they will putt apart easy.)3bPut a Mark where you want the Velcro then sew.Next mark the front of the belt. I used Velcro sew on and put the strip along the entire front. Be sure to put the soft piece toward your stomach. This way you can adjust the belt to fit, make it tighter or looser.I ran a 10.5-inch strip of Velcro so I could adjust up or down as needed
