EarFun Free Pro Wireless Earbuds
I wanted a pair of reasonably priced ear buds that primarily offered decent sound quality, were not the stick style (Apple EarPod) and costed around the £50 mark, any other features were a bonus. I looked at many reviews for different products and watched many videos and in the end I decided that the Ear Fun Free Pro’s would be a good choice, despite having never heard of the brand before and I really was not disappointed. The buds have a rounded rectangular kind of shape, which I really like as they fit inside the ear nicely without sticking out too far. A rubber hook surrounds the bud and presses against the inside of the ear, helping to prevent them from falling out which is a nice feature. The tips are the standard silicone type and you get a nice range of different sizes, so that you can match them to the size of your ear canal – It is important to make a good seal, as this prevents noises from leaking in and also creates a far better sound from the dual composite dynamic drivers.2 microphones are included with each ear bud (1 either end of the body), which are used for calls and for the Active Noise Cancelling feature to work. The buds are stored in their charging case, which is a nice compact size, has a flip up lid and can be charged via USB-C or by placing the case on a wireless charging pad. The buds are held in the case magnetically, so there is no worry about them falling from the case. The Ear Fun Free Pro’s support Bluetooth 5.2, which not only increases the signal range, but also uses less power than older versions.***** In The Box *****1 x Pair Ear Fun Free Pro’s1 x Charging Case4 x Ear Tips (different sizes)3 x Ear Hooks (different sizes)1 x USB-C Cable1 x User Guide***** Installation / Usage *****I have found the Free Pro’s to be very easy to use with different devices.Simply remove them from the case (after charging them) and enter your devices Bluetooth settings to pair them together and sound should automatically be sent to the buds. There are various controls that can be activated via simply tapping on the bud, which activates the touch sensitive controls. There are media controls for play and pause, next track, volume up and down.Hands free controls for answer call, reject call and transfer calls.Other functions are accessing your phone’s voice assistant, cycling between normal, ambient and ANC mode and turning the low latency mode on and off. When you have finished, simply place them back in the case and close the lid to turn them off and the case will automatically top their battery back-up.***** Conclusion *****I really am pleased with my decision to buy the Ear Fun Free Pro’s.I love the style of them, they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time and the selection of different sized tips and hooks means I was able to get a really good fit and create a nice seal in my ear canal. Most importantly, I am really impressed with the sound quality – these things sound great. Maybe not as good as high end products from the likes of Shure, etc, but for the price I’m not sure you would find anything better. They are also loud – far louder than I would want to listen, anyway.I find the ANC feature works pretty well and certainly removes a lot of background noise. I cannot say how good it is compared to other products as this is the first ANC buds I’ve tried, but I’m personally quite impressed. The controls are quite easy to use (once you’ve remembered the number of taps and which side) and seem quite responsive, although it would have been nice to have a previous track option.I have also also been told that the microphones sound good whilst on calls.I love that this model supports fast charging, with a full charge taking only 1.5 hours and giving around 32 hours of playback. Being able to charge the case via a wireless charging pad is also a very nice bonus and not something I would have expected given the price. In the end, I spent £10 more than my original £50 goal, but I definitely think it was worth the extra and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them – a great value for money product.

Case doesn't display battery % 👎🏻
This earpiece is very nice for a surroundings awareness earbud but it doesn't display the percentage of the battery on the case so there's really no way of knowing when to recharge 🤦🏻♀️. That's why I've given it 4. Other than that, it's beautiful. Nice bassy sound and very comfy in the ear. Not too ear blocking like all these noise cancelling ones. I don't like noise cancelling earbuds, I feel trapped inside 😄. I use these when i work so will have to be gauging when to charge the case by how much I've used it. Very bad design but good earbuds.UPDATE 1.4.23: I realised that because of the non noise cancelling eqrbud that it is, it made me turn the vol up to the highest and this caused me problems in my ear sooner than I expected. After that, I didn't use it again. Foe the fact that it doesn't even display the battery level is a big minus. This earbud is good for quiet places where you don't have to turn up the vol very high.

Great sound and noise cancelling for the price point.
I've been looking for some Bluetooth earbuds for a few months and these kept coming up in my rated searches. Amazon had them on a lightening deal so I took the plunge. Now for the price point, these are great. The noise cancellation is good if you have the correct size bud for your ear, as is the comfort. They come with a few different sizes so you should find one to suit. The charging box is, well, a charging box, it does what it's supposed to do and supports wireless charging. The top of the lid is shiny plastic so attracts finger prints but doesn't stop the box from doing what it's supposed to do.As for to sound quality: these are pretty good for the cost. The bass is thumping, I mean, makes eyes wobble thumping, which can be tamed with eq settings. Mids and highs are pretty clear and defined, female voices don't shrill and distort, strings don't sound like fingernail down a chalkboard. Did I mention the bass!? Drum n Bass sounds booming.I assume the sound will only improve as the buds are burned in after a few hours and any distortion you do find can generally be tuned with eq.I can't comment on battery life as I haven't had them long enough. The touch controls are OK if you want to use them, they do their job and are friendly. These don't come with any software so any eq adjustments will have to be done through your player.Overall these are a great set and tick all the boxes for comfort, build quality, noise cancelling and sound in their price point. If you're looking for high end with full noise cancelling then these do punch above their weight but you'd be better looking elsewhere (Sony.. ahem..)

Great Value for Money
Like:- the audio quality - while I’m not an audiophile, I’m not very old and I think my hearing’s good enough to discern between crappy and fairly good headphones or earbuds. These definitely aren’t poor. Not overly bassy, not tinny, just pretty good. Good range of volumes as well, I’ve never been left wishing my earbuds could get softer/louder- the amount of features you get, such as an ambient sound mode or the ability to call up your smartphone’s AI assistant- the battery life is pretty great I’d say. Unless you use the earbuds pretty much all day (I typically use them for less than like 3 hours a day), I’ve never really encountered a scenario where I’ve been left wishing my earbuds had better battery lifeDislike:- pretty much the only “real” complaint I have is that the earbuds have touch capacitive controls or whatever, so you’ve gotta use your fleshy digits to operate them, as opposed to physical, tactile buttons. Pretty much a non-issue really, but it does mean that in pretty select circumstances you may not be able to operate the controls (ex. with regular gloves), or maybe you end up unintentionally activating something (ex. the skin on your shoulders will be picked up by the touch capacitive controls)Other:My pair died after about 5 months of pretty heavy use, but I contacted support and they responded after a few days and are now sending me a replacement pair, which is great. As a tip, taking a cotton swab or a similar cleaning tool to the earbuds/charging case every once in a while is a good idea, making especially sure that the electrical contacts on the earbuds/charging case are clean so that you don’t end up finding out that your earbuds were never really charging because the contacts were grimy. Taking good care of them will probably mean they’ll last way longer than my first set!Another fairly obvious tip is that the different caps do substantially change the audio characteristics of the earbuds, so for instance if you find the earbuds are really tinny for some reason, perhaps you should change the earbud caps/tips for a differently sized pair and see if that fixes it. I had the issue of the earbuds being too tinny for me until I swapped out the caps/tips/whatever for a larger pair included in the box.For my first truly “wireless” earbud experience (my previous few ones have wires connecting them from around your neck), I must say I’m pleasantly surprised. I commend the people behind these. 8/10, recommended if you’re looking for a pair of earbuds with good performance at a good price.

Holy Freaking Cow.
When I opened the box from Amazon, I had to go into my orders because I thought, "What are these earbuds called "earfun"? I wouldn't buy a pair by a cheesy name like that. But I checked my order and that's exactly what I bought. But after running through my repertoire of music, which is pretty dang diverse, they are absolutely 110% Hoo-AHHH "EAR FUN!!!!" I would say that I'm somewhat of an audiophile. It started when I was stationed overseas. I started buying high-end components, I never hesitated to drop some coin on a high-end component. i.e. over $900 back in the day for the Nakamichi Dragon cassette deck. (Yeah I'm old) And it was worth every cent. Back then...My over-the-ear headphones have always been Bose. Partly because I used to fly a lot and enjoyed the noise cancelation, and the quality of music. I've owned two pair of Crapple Air Pods, but after the last set stopped working (and I drove over one Air Pod) I decided to spend less money and picked up another cheaper pair on Amazon. ($69.99) Those lasted about a year and then for some reason, I could no longer pair the left earbud, so I went back to Amazon and ran across these, the reviews were very complimentary, so I pulled the trigger. Here's some of the music I ran through and my thoughts. - Starry Eye Surprise (Paul Oakenfold mix). Bass reverberating through my head? Check. Strong mids? Check.I think the highs may suffer a little - not much though. - Hazy Bones (Cut One) sounded marvelous, and in all fairness, I was bouncing between these and my Bose Quiet Comfort 3's. '70-'80s Asia and Boston though were nice and clear. Impressively so. - Calvin Harris - a variety of songs, really just amazing quality. - Hank Jr. (variety of songs) - clean, crisp, and no criticism whatsoever - Asia - Van Halen (DLR singing) and Eruption just hammered it. - Audiobooks: Sound great. Zero criticism. In terms of other usage notes: - Comfort. My last set of earbuds had a hard time staying in my ear. At least the left one. No matter what soft gel cup I tried, it would not say secure. That's irritating. With the earfun, I ran with the soft gels that came on the earbuds and they fit both ears perfectly. I'm using the ear loop that came out of box. It's really a very ingenious AND comfortable design. - "Low vis" design: These earbuds are not bulky, they fit nicely into the ear, and I can bend my head over, left or right, and they stay nice and secure. I've worn them from 100% charged to "low battery alert" and experienced zero discomfort. I slept with the left one in my ear, sleeping on my left side, and experienced no discomfort, even after 5 whopping hours of sleep. - Appearance: These are very slick-looking earbuds, I could not be happier. My one complaint: Alas, I do have one somewhat negative comment. Either due to my strapping strong hands or case design, I have a hard time getting the earbuds out of the case. That's it.In terms of run time, I listened to one earbud for about 4-5 hours, all an audiobook. Swapped to the other earbud when those needed a charge and it was charged fairly quickly. Honestly, unless these induce some kind of embolism, I think they may very well be the best BT earbuds I've had the pleasure of cramming in my earholes and I could not recommend them more highly.Unless you are a person who habitually writes negative reviews, I believe with 100% certainty that you will not be disappointed with this purchase. Even with my fumbling fingers, I am more than happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to buy these for a family member who is in need of quality earbuds.

Right earbud battery issue
After 2 months of use, the right earbud drains much faster than the left earbud. Customer service is not responding for weeks.
