Works with my device,--just like it supposed to recharge my device. I used to have a conventional OEM charger that was susceptible to defects like a defective cable. However; this adapter has got my device running again,--after I kept it dorment for some months.Before I have this adapter, I tried a universal adapter with various connectors, trying to find a correct size, and polarity... I almost got it restored by recharging the battery. Power issues was common earlier, but I managed to keep my device running for everyday use.When I finally received my new charger; I unboxed it, plugged it into a wall outlet;, and connected it to my dead tablet. Although; I have to wait for my device to build up charge, and take some time for a battery to charge. Since I'm blind, I have to figure out if my device is being charged. It took a visual person to observe my device's screen to confirm if this adapter is working. I have to adjust the adapter a bit to establish a connect,--due to a little crack at the power slot.Now, I'm able to write text-based games for my own website, and write documents,--without needing to lug my Chromebook from place to place.I was so happy because, I don't need to buy a new device, or turn in my device for a replacement via a manufacturer. With a long cable, useful for working on my coffee table at home.This is a great product to recharge your device, and I really love it!!

Bought this for my Nextbook but did not fit

I had a Nextbook Ares 11A that refused to charge past 30%, I could leave it plugged in for a whole day and the charge wouldn't change. When I tried using it plugged in the battery would discharge to 0% then the tablet would power off. After reading reviews about the PWR adapter I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did, when it first arrived I plugged it into my tablet which I will admit the fit into the port was quite tight. After leaving it plugged in for around 5 hrs it had charged the battery all the way up to 100%. I have drained the tablet about 15 times since purchasing the new adapter and it has kept doing what it's supposed to. Great product and I would recommend it to anyone having issues with their power adapter.

It does thee job. For the money it is worth it. Love it.

At first when I purchased this for my tablet, it would not completely stay flush in the port. I would have to prop it against something for it to work. After a few weeks of doing this, I took the chance and forcibly pushed the charger into the port. The charger no longer has to be propped for it to stay in the tablet. I think my fear was that since this was not from the manufacturer that i could damage my tablet if I tried to force it deeper in the port. This wasn't the case. You can push this in and you will hear a clicking sound.

great replacement chargér for my nextbook.update. charger as some have said the plug does not sit flush but it's a small issue. the issue I found so far is that it charges extremely slow and that you sometimes have to shutdown the nextbook for it to actually charge. I don't know if this would be an issue with the charger or of it's an issue with my nextbook. if The plug wire could be an heavier gauge than it is and it might work better. overall it is a good replacement for the nextbook. if you treat it with care it should last for years.

The original charger for my NextBook failed at the end where the connector plugs into the tablet such that I had to position it just so in order to get it to work at all. I researched the unit I purchased and it is so much more substantial than the original in all ways and especially at the connector end where it plugs in to the tablet.

So far so good this adapter seem to be doing what it's supposed to do. On the downside I can confirm what other reviews have commented on. The plug does not seat completely flush into the tablet is it's slightly longer than stock. Looking at the original it says 5 volt 3 amps whereas this adapter says only 2 amps. The main reason I purchased this adapter was for the extra long cord. Yet to see if this longer cord and lower amperage charges at the same rate as the stock one.

I like it because it was needed to replace my tablet cord that quit working. It fits and works well so I can enjoy my tablet again. It arrived when it should have so that was great to.
