These are a low tech training option for pet training. We pushed it ourselves for a week to signal dog going outside. The next week we encouraged bell closeness then bell touching for opening the door. She’s not the brightest dog, but in those two weeks, she now pushes it to go out independently. Inexpensive and perfect for the task.

It's a nice Bell but Tom 🐈‍⬛ won't ring it 🙄. I've been working on him for months and months to get him to ring it. He'll paw at it and move it around which is okay but as far as actually tapping it and ringing it he's done it 2 times

I figured this was worth a try, as the bells are not very costly. They do work, but unfortunately my Siberian Husky refuses to touch them. I placed one beside the door and rang the bell each time I saw that my dog wanted to go out, figuring that he'd catch on and start doing that. Id say, "You want to go out? Ring the bell," and then I'd show him what to do - opening the door after ringing the bell. I also tried lifting his paw up and dropping it on the ringer. No luck whatsoever. It seems he would rather bark or jump at the door, and of course that gets my attention.

Our puppy quickly caught on but half the time the bell doesn’t ring, so if he tries it and I can’t hear it then he doesn’t get reinforcement and potentially will potty on the floor because he doesn’t feel he was heard. They’re very cheap so Im not too upset but definitely a dud for us. We are replacing it with a recorded button.

We trained our Poochon to use these when he was 2 months old and he was using it consistently after a week. It made potty training sooooo much easier because it gave him a very clear way to communicate with us, so we knew when he needed to go outside vs. just staring out the door. He does sometimes take advantage of it and ring just to be outside, so we generally ignore him if he has just done some business. Now that he's older, he's less annoying with it. It's also just super cute to see the little fluffball ring his "service bell."

Ich hab sie fürs Training mit dem Hund gekauft und sie haben ein sehr angenehmen Klang, sind leicht zu bedienen und der Hund hat auch seine Freude dran. Ich bin begeistert, was die alles abkönnen. Unser Hund hat sie schon oft durch den Flur geschoben oder mal auf der Treppe verloren, sodass die Klingel dann unschön alleine runter gefallen ist. Die Klingel kann das aber ab und hat bei uns trotz der Strapazen keine Risse oder Abplatzungen. Sehr zu empfehlen und unbedenklich in der Handhabung mit den Tieren.

So glad we got these for our new chihuahua puppy, really helped with toilet training him, my husband and I put one doggie doorbell beside the back door of the kitchen and one beside the patio door and we pressed it each time we used either door, after one week our puppy started to use the bell to ask to go outside and he now rings it every time he needs to go out to toilet. some dogs may take more or less time but once they understand what it's for it is so helpful to know when they want to go out, I've recommended these to friends with dogs, best product we have bought for our puppy.
